I found this lovely local business located at 3604 verandah dr, suite E 30909 because a friend of mine shared their post on Facebook during the aftermath of hurricane helene, when Elemy's was giving away a free 6 pack of bagels to their community. This is what made me want to visit their establishment. True kindness always wins my support.
This veteran woman owned business is owned by a local and is worth your visit. A friend and I went today to try their new York style hand rolled bagels, and we were not disappointed. Good bagels are often hard to find, but you'll definitely find great bagels here. We ordered the asiago cheese bagel with roasted garlic cream cheese, an asiago bagel breakfast sandwich and a fried cinnamon roll. We were in luck because their asiago bagels were sold out, BUT they had fresh warm ones coming out of the oven in 2 short minutes. The bagels are crispy on the outside a d fluffy on the inside. The fried cinnamon roll was huge! It was topped with cream cheese icing that was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The cinnamon roll dough was delicious, crispy around the edges and tender. The crispiness of the edges made the whole experience of the Cinnamon roll that much better!! The breakfast asiago sandwich was served warm and flavorful. Every bite was exquisite. Their cream cheese is fresh made and in a wide variety of flavors, a few I remember are bacon and chive, fresh herb, roasted garlic, and Chipotle but there are at least 8 more, and I want to try them all!
The cream cheese is light and fluffy and easily spreadable. The cream cheese is also available in an 8oz serving for $8 and is located in the fridge where the drinks are. A great addition to your 6 pack of bagels to go 🥯 😋 Elemys offers coffee from Ubora coffee roasters. Ubora coffee is delicious and freshly roasted in their downtown coffee shop located on Jones street in Augusta. There is seating inside but it's limited which is enjoyable. The seating outside is intimate but also open for conversation as it is located in the front. The service was very kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I will return. While my friend and I were there (about an hour) there were at least 15 people who came in and bought large 6 packs, breakfast sandwiches and lunch. I absolutely recommend you visit this...
Read moreI heard about this bagel place from CONNECT AUGUSTA a few months ago. We have lived here for 20 years and we have never really had a "real" bagel shop. So, we were excited to see that one had opened up and surprised to hear that we have been missing out on said bagels for almost a year. I had called tp make sure they were open, and the owner, Steve was so darn pleasant, so, I went there today with my husband. It's located in a cute little courtyard, kinda tucked away, near Wheeler Rd. and Walton Way Ext., right behind the new 7Brew Coffee drive thru. When we got there, it was about 10am on Sunday and it was quite busy. The store is not very big, but even with how busy it was, we didn't wait more than 5 minutes before they took our order, which was a larger order. As busy as it was, the crew (and the customers too) didn't seem frazzled or frustrated, and when the line got backed up, Steve was out from the back with a smile on his face to help his beautiful wife Abby. After that, the line was down in less than 5 minutes and everyone waited patiently (a nice change from people always being in a rush)They had a wide variety of hand rolled bagels and a decent offering of breakfast and lunch sandwiches available. I ordered the sausage egg and cheese bagel and when I got home and ate it, it was fantastic. We brought the bagels home with an assortment of different cream cheeses and everyone raved about them. They also offer door dash, which is awesome if you live in the area. We love supporting the small businesses in Augusta and are even more excited that it is veteran owned, bc my husband is a fellow veteran. We NEEDED a bagel shop in Augusta. Yes, we had an Einstein bagels, but Einsteins doesn't compare to a small town, homemade bagel shop, where you can tell that the owners put their heart, soul, and love into what they are bringing into our community. I plan on visiting often and bringing as many friends as possible. I have a feeling they are going to need a...

Service: very friendly, as fast as they can be - during peak times it can be a bit slow but thats normal!
Vibe: space is cozy but a little small. Not a hit to them, I just recommend taking it to go or prepping to eat outside.
Food: bagels have a nice crust to the outside and soft inside. Not sure if they boil them but it tastes like they do, so props to them. I’ve had the onion, everything, and Asiago and they all come loaded with toppings/flavor. Sandwiches have quality ingredients. Bacon/egg/cheese comes with tons of bacon. Their cream cheese slaps.
Coffee: let’s be real you don’t come to a bagel shop for coffee. It’s ubora drip which a bunch of places in town have. It’s good, hits when you need caffeine, but don’t expect a full coffee shop or a roast that is going to blow your mind. It is good though.
Overall: dope place. Consistently good. I’ve been to a decent amount of bagel places in a bunch of states and this one...
