This would be an Update from my last visit here. 1st,they were under construction, only the Drive-thru was open. I didn't give them a good review at ALL. What we ordered, and what we received was exactly 1/2 of the order. After consulting with 3-5, different people and departments, we got the issue resolved. Later that week we received a letter from the McBees, they Apologized for our experience at one of their Companies. They also sent us 3 cards,1=buy one lg Breakfast meal& Get One FREE, & Also 2nd&3rd=2 cards for Buy 1 Lg Sandwich Value Meal get 2nd FREE! (both had the equal or lesser value, &,only good at participating stores,which really is to be expected.) So Now to this visit, which was a "Chicken Date Night" w/my 7yr old Nephew(his name) we got a Special Treat 6piece McNuggets Happy Meal (toy=Red Monster Truck that pulls back &let it go& GO it does FAR&FAST. Also a 20piece Nugget Lg Meal,& 20piece Nugget, &Lg Chocolate Milkshake. We ate in. The atmosphere was so VERY relaxing, there wasn't anyone else in the whole place. We sat upfront looking out the Huge windows. My Nephew has Special needs, the Environment, the Woman that took our order Couldn't have fit more Perfectly into Our Special night. He was calm, sat in a comfortable suede chair, Contented eating the Perfectly cooked Meals. McBee Family, I'd like to Thank-you for making our 2nd visit so memorable. The picture of the little Boy is my Nephew and Happily Content. Mistakes happen I wholeheartedly understand, I would Highly Recommend this restaurant for Eat-in, w/ or w/out Children for inside the Spacious setup,Relaxing Atmosphere, the Gracious Staff. What a beautiful Change took over this place. I'm Overwhelmed by the Positive Differences, that was made from the 1st visit, to this visit! Thank-you McBee's McDonald's, for a Terrific experience! Read moreArrived to find the display wasn't working correctly, the image was flashing and glitching, no biggie, I can still order. Guy asks what I want and I give my order, albeit slowly because the display didnt function so I had to check in to insure he had heard me with each change in the order. The order, which included a large Fanta no ice, never really an issue at the Bangor st location. However, the man timidly informs me he only has Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or Sprite and that they are only canned, which I found odd seeing as that's never happened to me before, whatever I head to pay.
I pay and get to the second window, fries are okay and I crack the sprite no biggie, gonna wait till I get home to eat my burgers. Well, upon arriving home, I open the wrapping around my burgers and discover they are slapped together rather haphazardly, no biggie I guess, I can fix that. I get it.
HOWEVER, I get the bun off so I can put it back on correctly, only to find a white, almost see-through looking sheet of something sticking out of my cheese. Carefully I peeled the cheese away to reveal a half crumpled piece of paper under the cheese. I get mistakes happen guys, but come on, I like audibly gagged. I know the paper is most likely used to separate cheese and the worker most likely forgot to remove it upon making my burgers, however that means it's probably been manhandled by so many people it's not even funny.
Please be sure in the future to remove paper from the cheese before cooking the burgers, it's unsanitary and a bit gross, thank you otherwise for the good service and...
Read moreThis particular McD’s is absolutely out of control. Needed a quick meal, so begged off 5-Guys (always good, but takes 10 minutes more). So what we thought would be 10 minute drive through, turned out to be 60 minutes. The car queue was 25 minutes long. Then they asked me to pull into parking slot 3 so they could “deliver me a fresh quarter pounder”. Waited there for 12 more minutes, then went inside to inquire. It was a madhouse in there, with about 12 people waiting for food. Finally got the attention of someone, gave them my ticket….she talked with others… everyone shaking their heads. It seemed the lost my order…”just a few minutes”. 10 minutes more, they hand me two bags, and I started to walk away… but something told me I should check the badges. We’ll, the bags did NOT have the proper items. Speaking loudly, I got another persons attention and said what was missing. She asked me for the receipt, that the other guy had walked away with! When I sternly said “give me another cheeseburger”, I was finally done. We drove away with our “drive through order” over an hour after we pulled onto the property!
