Used to loved this place but I can't anymore since the nail salon moved in next door. The smell from the chemicals fills the GameStop to where you can't breathe in there. You can smell it from the parking lot, there is no real ventilation. I was getting so dizzy and light headed after just a few minutes in there. Stood in line to check out ant the clerk spent 10 minutes talking with the one guy while there were people behind him. My asthma started flaring and I felt like I was about to pass out. I just left my stuff. I had to get out of there and was having trouble walking. There's no way health codes aren't being violated in there right now. I don't know how the employees stay in there. Something needs to be done before someone gets really sick. Almost feel sorry for whoever owns that shopping center. Not sure the smell will ever come out of either store. Been over 30 minutes since I left and my head still...

If GameStop is being outmatched in the games department by stores that sell hemorrhoid cream and coffee grounds, then they are finally and truly dead. Lost in the etherspace of places that once were and used to be.
Goodbye GameStop. Thank you for every excited trip in the backseat, ev idnight release, and every anxious...
Read moreAs far as the Augusta area goes, this is the best Gamestop. It has the most variety of products including figurines and novelties, and the staff is actually polite and helpful here. The Gamestop on Deans Bridge Road, they frequently show things in stock online and do not have them, ignore you while you are standing at the counter waiting even when no one else is in the store, and seem to have issues with their register a lot like their "trades not working" or points not being applied to your PowerUp rewards account for your purchases. Never any issues like this at this location so it's worth a bit of an extra drive to go here. Store pick-up orders are fast, trade in values are accurate with what is shown online, nothing to really complain about based off of my experiences when I have shopped at...
