Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Aurora

Beware of the dreaded drive-thru line anytime you try to pull in, or even just try to park because of the way the parking lot is built. There are a lot of spaces to park because the restaurant is parked beside the equally-as-beloved Hobby Lobby. I say the lot is built funny because it seems there is only one way in and one way out and as a driver, it can really be a headache to maneuver or wait. As a fair warning, I will say almost anytime you roll up for the drive-thru line, it was most definitely be packed, so always plan accordingly and do not go if time is not on your side. There will still be a line if you decide to park and order in, almost every time we order inside the line is never too crazy, it's usually just a couple of people in front of us before our order is taken. The only real brutal thing is the wait: it's not as bad as one would think, but it's apparent they cater to online and drive-thru orders before everyone else's, but if waiting doesn't bother you then it will most definitely be worth it. The employees look like busy bees always swarming to take someone's order/making various fountain drinks/packing in the right food in bags/handing out bags of food; it's an interesting sight to see. It's the only restaurant where you see this kind of thing because they are usually always busy. Of course, the food was banging (I even got the pleasure of getting an extra nugget in my 8 piece nugget!), the lemonade was banging. My only real complaint is that when we tried finding a table to sit at and all the tables that weren't occupied were dirty, so we had to wipe them down ourselves, but again, because of the busy bee climate, I completely understood that perhaps no one had time to wipe down tables between the customers sitting in. Also, I thought it was pretty neat that they had Christmas Decor still hanging around the restaurant. It reminded me of the one house in a neighborhood that kept their Christmas lights year-round (even though I'm sure Chick-Fil-A will take them down eventually), it was really cool to see.

Update: As of 2-19-22: When we visited this time around, it was an equally pleasant experience (It was cute that they still had Valentine's Day Decor hanging up around!). There were only two people in front of us (usually there is one person at the register and there were two separate cashiers today). The general waiting area was clean but I was pleased to see the tables looked much cleaner than our last visit (with pretty Valentine's Day flowers). We had it ordered to - go and because of how less busy the line was, we were In-N-Out like the restaurant. Where should I start. Here goes! I was out my husband called and wanted me to bring him breakfast to work. I was near Chick fil A. It was early in the morning and I needed something quick. So Chick fi A it is. I only go for the breakfast biscuits meal when I do go so why not. So I went though drive thru ordered 2 breakfast chicken biscuit with egg and cheese with orange juices. I took one to my husband job then notice there it wasn't what I ordered 😐 ok #Chicfila everyone makes mistakes. Anyways I should've checked to make sure it was correct. And on this morning drive thru wasn't busy and there service has never let me down before. Anyways I drove back to Chick-fil-A on my way home so I can get the correcting thing that I ordered went though drive thru again explained that I had to return because my 1st order wasn't correct and that I had to come all the way back. Can y'all just make one of them over? She was like sorry about that what was your order again? we are going to fix it I do apologise. So I got to the window again got my food pulled off into the parking lot checked my order and it was wrong AGAIN 😡. Now I was hot. Im pregnant and was really trying not to be rude plus I was hungry!! I usually would've went in after the fist time I had to come back. But I didn't think I was properly dress right to go in. So here I am in the🤬 drive thru line again which was not long again! Explained again that this is my 3rd time back in the drive thru line again this morning. And this girl was like do you have your receipt 🤨 trying not to🤬😠 her out. I politely said Yes I have my receipt can y'all PLEASE just get my order correct. I didn't ask for them to make both sandwiches over just minds both times I returned back! So this time I get to the window and a male is there and he apologizes and hand me my bag. which by the way was incorrect it was just a breakfast biscuit with a chicken patty on it! I love Chick Filet A but tonight they absolutely disappointed me! I had cards from them for free food and when trying to use one I was told it wasn't good on what I ordered. I specified that it was but still told no. So I used my other card which I got due to them messing up a previous order! I was trying to save that one for a sandwich instead of having to use it on nuggets but couldn't. When I paid I looked at the original card and on the back it said substitutions we're allowed like I had told the cashier! Well even the manager couldn't help fix to the mistake by the cashier so I could keep my card to use on a sandwich later. I should've just made them give me a refund and then order from the he beginning since the weren't able to accommodate me when they made the mistake! Well to make matters even worse, I had ordered a DIET lemonade! I am a type 1 diabetic so it is IMPORTANT that it be what o I order so I don't get high sugars and threaten my health!! I drove home and didn't taste my drink til I got home and I WASN'T even given DIET lemonade!! I would've LOVED to enjoyed my dinner with the lemonade but now I can't! Extremely frustrated and feel like I wasted my money tonight! Not like Chick Fil A to have customers unsatisfied like this! Not sure if I will be returning?!
