Giving 3 stars. First and foremost I love coming to this place as I am a girl who was born and raised in Hawaii and can never find the foods that I love from back home anywhere in Colorado. So, the next best thing is L&L. I’ve grown up eating here back when I was in Hawaii and this place just makes me feel at home any time I do visit.
As of lately, I’ve been very upset and disappointed in the fact that any time I do try to call and place an order, the phone is CONSTANTLY on a busy tone.. It is to my understanding that there’s only 1 working phone in the building and being that this location is the busiest in Colorado, it surprises me the fact that there isn’t more than just 1 phone to take orders from within this business. Also, the employees taking the phone orders majority of the time sound very unprofessional and make customers feel rushed throughout the entire phone call. Now with understanding this is the busiest location and the fact that things can get a little backed up, it should still be in the best interest of the employees to remain professional within their position and at least ACT like they love being at their job. It gets extremely frustrating that the once out of the blue moon time I actually have the chance to come visit, THE PHONE IS CONSTANTLY ON THAT BUSY TONE. I strongly believe this is something that needs to be fixed within the company in order to ensure that you take care of ALL guests that are trying to give you business.
Other than those minor mistakes, I absolutely will continue coming here but wanted to express my deep frustration with the lack of professionalism within the company regarding the phone calls and making customers feel rushed on the phone, or even when taking orders in person. It’s understandable that things happen, but it should not be a repetitive situation that customers have to deal with when coming to visit you folks! I’ve done my best to hold my tongue about the frustration but this is literally the umpteenth time this has happened to me and it never gets fixed!! Please do something...
Read moreSo I visited L&L for the first time a month ago in honor of my late grandfather, he spent most of his life in Hawaii & I always wanted to try Hawaiian food. Upon my first visit everything was so amazingly satisfying I went back the very next day. & again a week after that except this time I ordered pick up via mobile app to accumulate rewards points. On the app there’s various options for add ons so I took the liberty of purchasing an extra Macaroni salad for my fried chicken katsu meal. This means I should have received two macs and one rice. However I only received the normal serving and a bbq teriyaki chicken meal. Upon my discovery I called the store every day for 4 days to speak with a manager, the cashier then said the manager would be back on Wednesday or Thursday. When I called back to speak with the manager he seemed helpful enough just told me to come in and he’d replace the error for me. I didn’t go the day I called and spoke with him because I was extremely exhausted from work; I did go the very next day. When I got to the location to pick up the macaroni salad I was promised and place a new order the manager claimed he “never spoke with nobody about no order mess up but he’ll just give me an extra Mac salad on my plate”. This entire situation and his lack of transparency really made me uneasy about coming here. I ultimately paid for something I did not order. Not sure if he didn’t refund me because I chose to order something other than fried chicken katsu the day he asked me to come but I do believe that is my prerogative. Nonetheless, The food was everything I imagined which is why I gave 3 stars. I’ll probably just find another location with...

Probably thinking why go back after the first time?! WELL I blame me thinking my chicken was undercooked since my order was very last before a they closed. I didn’t finish the chicken but woke up later that night with the worse not in my stomach as well as nauseous. This lasted for two days and I’m quite sure I had salmonella poisoning.
Today I went only because my boyfriend said we should get it. Not really thinking because it had already been a busy day of running errands along with two toddlers in a growling stomach I agreed to it. I went in the afternoon and I was thinking that the food would actually be better because they’re usually busy and just thinking, the food would actually be handled better for some reason. It’s not even four hours following getting the food and my stomach is in knots and I’m nauseous. Mind you the only thing I ate prior to this food was oatmeal in the morning so I know I got some kind of food poisoning from this place and I don’t know if it’s the chicken because it did a suspect again, but I didn’t have a lot of pieces or if it’s because of poor hygiene by the workers.
I’ve literally missed two days of work because my stomach was in so much pain last weekend and forcing myself to go in so I do not get in trouble and get an unexcused absence but definitely will be reaching out to their corporate office because it is unacceptable and others are telling me they got the same thing from this location as well.
When I went to another location I had no stomach issues, just wasn’t anwhere near the Parker...
