DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Aurora

Being 6’6 and 300lbs I have shopped at DXL exclusively for almost a decade now. I also travel a great deal for work so I know that the customer experience is always at a high standard for every location. This evening I was especially impressed by a DXL associate by the name of Adrian. I was amazed to find out that this extremely mature sounding and professional man was a senior in high school. Adrian had great knowledge of fashion and was all over the store putting together great outfits for me. If they didn’t fit he had alternate sizes waiting for me, unbelievable. Adrian was amazing as all DXL employees have been, but this gentlemen went above and beyond. To levels to that I have never seen not only at DXL but every high department store and haberdashery that I’ve shopped for specialty items and custom suits as well. Awful customer "service"! The guy didn't bother coming out from behind the counter! My husband and I were trying to find him a suit for a job interview and had no idea about sizes (he is tall). We wandered around trying to figure things out and finally asked the clerk for help about length. He just looked at is and said we needed a long and then realized he had on a long, then amended that to an extra long. That was IT. No help at all! We felt we had wasted enough time and ended up going across the street to Men's Warehouse. There, we were feet immediately. They knew my husband's size and guided us to where he could try on several options. We received personal, attentive service and guidance and we will give Men's Warehouse our business. You...

This was my second time to this location. Both times the staff were genuinely acommodating and the selection and variety is incomparable at the sizes they specialize in. Prices are in the ballpark of a Kohls or Macys, so perfectly reasonable, especially considering the personal attention. If you find a Target 2x doesn't fit or a Walmart shirt is too long this retailer can accommodate. The in store selection is quite good, and once you know your size they are happy to order in a style if they don't have it on hand. Would highly recommend.
