April 2025 visit
Still my favorite K-Fried Chicken with the variety of flavors, my favorite being the Cheeseling. Also had the Kimchi Rice on this visit.
Service was very welcoming and quick. This time, a nice young man attended to me and service was 5 🌟.
This visit got: So Ddeok So Ddeok Gang-Jeong Fried 🍗
An order of the So Ddeok was just 1 stick ... and, let me say, I could have finished probably at least 5 of those in 1 seating. Love love love the rice cakes which were crispy and chewy. The sausages tasted like those Li'l Smokies and I personally, love those. However, I would pay a bit more if they added more of the rice cake ratio vs the sausages as they were simply delicious! The sauce drizzle has a little bit of kick to it but, very mild.
First time to try the Gang-Jeong fried 🍗 also and again (!), it was 👍!
Also had to-go of: Kimchi Fried Rice Cheesling fried 🍗
WOW (!)...the Cheesling Fried 🍗 was soooo good (!) even re-heated . (I can just guarantee, even better freshly ordered and eaten at the restaurant.) It just has the right sweetness, but, still very good.
So far, have tried/tasted about 5 of their chicken flavors namely: Galbi Soy Garlic Gangnam Gang-Jeong Cheesling
I have to say, all are excellent! You won't go wrong ordering any of the above.
I, on the other hand, will be back to have a try of the other flavors.
Will reiterate (!!!) that bb.q Chicken is a MUST try/visit.
First visit. Let me start with ... A MUST dining destination!
Went on a weekend, just as they opened. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Love love love Korean fried 🍗 and bb.q Chicken is 5-⭐. They offer more varieties so, a definite return is guaranteed.
We ordered: Kimchi Fried Rice Takoyaki Fries and for the fried 🍗: Galbi Soy Garlic
oh, and by the way, a to-go of: Kimchi Fried Rice Gangnam-style 🍗
EVERYTHING was excellent 👌👍 The chicken varieties catering to everyone from NO-heat 🔥 to 🔥🔥🔥lovers.
If you are new to Korean food, I would recommend, start with the Chicken but, try the Kimchi Rice as well.
My only regret is they do not offer my favorite drink of choice - ☕. But, to have that food, coffee can be set aside.
Cannot stress enough that bb.q...

Korean fried chicken. "bb.q Chicken" is an abbreviation for “best of the best quality”, not barbecue. This chain has been featured in numerous Korean dramas such as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" and "Crash Landing on You".
Be prepared for long waits due to a small wait staff that can get overwhelmed. Cook times are acceptable once your order gets to the kitchen, the bottleneck seems to be inadequate wait staff. Also, as other reviewers indicate, this is on the pricy side for fried chicken. The quality is good though. If you're not in a rush and don't mind paying more than other places, bb.q may be a good option for you.
This place offers wings or a whole chicken hacked up, both deep fried. Sauce selections must be applied to whole orders, so unfortunately they don't offer 50/50 with 2 sauce choices. Offers a number of both traditional US and Korean sides, such as coleslaw and topokii.
The "cheesing" sauce offered on both fries and chicken definitely isn't for everyone. It is a mixture of a sweet, cheesy dust slurry, offered on fries or the chicken. If you love the orange dust from a Kraft Mac 'N Cheese packet, go for it. This is just one option though, and there are plenty of great sauces to chose from if this doesn't sound appealing.
If you like spicy, don't be overly afraid of their hottest "Wings of Fire" sauce. It isn't too much hotter than their sauces billed as medium spice. As a spicy food junkie, this left me wanting for something hotter as the spiciest offering.
bb.q an automated robot waiter that sometimes brings customers food. The kids love to see it. It left before we got all of our food off of it, which we found more amusing than anything else and really enjoyed it.
The small bar has an ample selection of draft craft beer and soju. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. This place can get busy, which is another reason to not go if you have time constraints.
If you're not in a rush and don't mind paying a bit more than you may be used to for fried chicken, give this...
Read moreI will try to keep it simple and right to the point, so around in Feb 2024 I had to work late & I got into the restaurant at 9:00pm and I asked if they were still open to serve; then Alex server/manager said to me in a dismissive attitude, that they were getting ready to close soon, that if I want to, then I can take one of the tables next to the exit door, I said no thanks I better go and eat something different, then I left. (I decided not to make it a big of deal) Then I went back on 3/15/24 around 6:30pm, Alex server/manager again (I am a local and repeat customer for bbq.chicken) he gave me out a table, after 10-15min took my order, then 45min to1hr later I asked him where was my order, he went to the kitchen and came back saying that my order was mistakenly misplaced by the kitchen; that what I can have instead of my original order is chicken wings (I ordered soy garlic whole chicken). I said "no, I want my original order" and then his attitude was all been dismissive and discouraging towards me saying that it will take too long to prepared my original order". Then I ask Alex that I want to speak to the manager and he said "I am the manager" he insisted that the kitchen was busy working the orders and it will take more time than expected to prepare my order; then I said to him that my order should take a "priority" as everybody else that arrived to the restaurant after me, was already been served and a couple of people already ate and left. Finally 30min later Alex brought my original order. Sadly to say it, but is true; at bb.q chicken the change in management is getting worse everyday, it is great to grow your business, but quality in food and service, will deteriorate if you don't care or loose control of your business. My message to the Ownership "Do not take for granted your clients" "We always have options and we will leave you if you do not take...
