Start by saying that this Olive Garden, located in Northfield, Denver, and is in a huge outdoor shopping area. The restaurant has adequate handicapped parking, entry, and restrooms. The bar area is pretty well stocked with a variety of mid to top shelf liqours. After a few minutes of taking pictures, i was approached by a manager ( Stephany ) who told me that Olive Garden doesn't allow pictures to be taken in the restaurant. I asked why and identified myself and mentioned that the pictures are necessary to do a review. She then told me that next time i need to inform her before doing my review.....in which i replied," What good is a review, if everyone knows im doing a review, and that reviews are based on my experience and the restaurant cleanliness, customer service, quality of food, plate presentation, and so much more. I guess in the verbal of this review, and after being asked to delete the picture leading into the kitchen, that area had several napkins on the floor and the kitchen door also open, the kitchen was a bit dirty...although we did arrive peak lunch. The food was awesome and the endless breadsticks are always a favorite. Sukky our server was also very attentive and asked several times, how was our food, and also kept our drinks full, and tried to upsell dessert, but we were stuffed. I will certainly be visiting more Olive Gardens, and will continue giving reviews and provide pictures....because thats how guests know what to expect from the restaurant they're about to visit. Overall, my experience was great, but not being able to give the proper review, which includes pictures of cleanliness or filth, and there was plenty of pictures i could have taken to show below average dining areas. For this reason i give...
Read moreIt was such a confusing time here! Since I hadn't been to Church's since I was a kid, I wanted to check out this one since it was pretty close and to see for myself if their chicken was worth the southern cuisine hype. The service was pretty okay, the person who took our order was pretty bland, he just seemed kind of there, if that makes sense. We didn't have anything missing in our order, and our food was ready to go in no time at all. However - the biggest complaints come from the food itself! I say this was a confusing experience because never had I had such good food that left me feeling deprived. We had two kinds of meals; a 5 pc tender meal with fries, a drink and a biscuit and a chicken sandwich meal with mac n cheese and a drink. The chicken was well seasoned, not too salty or too bland, and flavored beautifully. However, this will be the last compliment I can give, as they completely deprived us in every other way other than our drinks. The chicken was painfully dry, some parts were even burnt it was so dry. The portions they gave us for ridiculous - especially for being a southern cuisine place. They gave us only a handful of fries to complement and a small amount of shriveled-looking tenders. The mac and cheese they gave us only had less than half that would fill the styrofoam cup it was placed in. The best way I can think of these portions is those from a school lunch. Will not be returning here! For the price we paid, it was ridiculous - not even Popeyes, KFC, or Chick-Fil-A would have us so...
Read moreStopped here for a quick lunch. We are from Albuquerque & we found a Church's just up the road from us. After looking at the menu & ordering regular priced items our cashier, Bernie, suggested the specials that were going on. We got all the food we wanted at a better price. We ordered enough food for 6 people & the wait wasn't bad. Everything in our order was correct & fresh. (We usually don't get our right order the first time in Albuquerque). Food was more than enough & customer service was great. Most employees won't tell you about specials, they will let you pay full price. And always keep in mind the golden rule: treat others as you wish to be treated; if you are rude don't expect kindness back. People in fast food work hard & deal with all kinds of people all day long, probably the majority of them being rude & condescending to the workers. So don't believe everyone's review of rude employees because the same people writing the review were probably rude to the employees & can only vent online. Overall great service & good food, will stop in again. Thank you again, Bernie, for...
