Taco River — Restaurant in Aurora

I would never come back to this restaurant. I ordered online and arrived when it was estimated to be ready, but they hadn’t even started making it. No one was in the restaurant. All food items were in chafing trays. The meats were in PLASTIC ziplock bags inside the chafing trays. Heating plastic = poison food. I gave them the benefit of the doubt (and I was super hungry) and ate the food anyway. We got chicken, carnitas, and al pastor. The chicken was rock hard and dried out, really disgusting and gross. Almost inedible. Al pastor is my favorite but it wasn’t much better. The carnitas were at least somewhat moist but still practically unpalatable. Definitely do not recommend this place, especially with so many other amazing fresh taco trucks & Mexican...

7/14/24 Order: 2 California burritos, 2 Asada Tacos & 1 Al Pastor

Pros: •Customer Service was good, the young man in the front was very friendly. •Food came out fast (maybe too fast though?) • Salsas are pretty good

Cons: •La comida se me hizo un poco sin sabor le hace falta un poco más sazón// Food was a bit bland could use a little more seasoning specifically the burritos. •It was so hot in there, no A/C & during this heatwave I felt bad for the employees and that’s coming from someone who works outside lol. They did have some fans in the back but they shouldn’t really be having fans facing the food.

Overall, I have had better tacos y burritos, in the same neighborhood too but I think I might give Taco River another...

2 orders of Birra Tacos 3 orders of steak Chili cheese fries And 1 burrito 70 dollars

To me that was expensive but ik that’s a lot of food so good deal

My tacos was delicious but a little tough (the shell) and my soup that your suppose to dip your tacos in was bland But it was still delicious with everything My fries were a little salty but I think that is due to the cheese they use on top of them and even though we ordered steak in our fries I’m PRETTY CONFIDENT they put hamburger meat in them (like mixed the 2 meats) so I feel a little scammed lol but it was pretty good I think I’ll maybe come back a litty...
