Ok, so I am on night two (2) of my three (3) nights stay here at Cambria Hotel, and I'd like to share my thoughts thus far.. I'll start with how it was next to impossible to get in touch with anyone here prior to my check-in, when trying to arrange a shuttle pick-up and when my call was finally answered, the guy on the other line didn't seem to know much of anything at all and wasn't much help. I don't blame him though and wasn't really too bothered by this. Upon my check-in yesterday, Friday, June 30th, 2023 I walked in my room and immediately noticed some sopping wet hand towels on the bathroom sink. Standing water in the tub and 2 lamps that don't work. The air conditioner is super loud and at times, sounds like it's going to explode! It has kept me awake, and has woken me up several times. As far as the room layout and furnishings go, I'd say overall it's pretty good, especially for the price! I love that they have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower for you and really love that there are two tv's, although it was a little difficult to hear my TV while on the king bed, over both the other TV and the super loud a/c unit! I was offered a free breakfast voucher as compensation for the wet towels in my bathroom, which was nice, however, my best friend who is traveling with me, had to pay $14 for their breakfast buffet and it was absolutely atrocious! And I'm NOT a picky eater at all! But the eggs were rubbery, the pancakes were cold, there were no butter knives available to spread butter or jams, and other than some cereal, a few yogurts (all the same flavor) some bagels and bread next to a toaster and some sad looking sausage patties, their buffet is extremely limited. I love that the pool/hottub were not only open, but stayed open until midnight and even when my friend and I lost track of time, it was nice not being bullied out of the spa right at the stroke of midnight. It was super relaxing, and we were the only ones down there so it was nice and peaceful! The bed and linnens are probably the best part about the room, and also our view is pretty nice even from the second floor. We can see some really beautiful snow capped mountains off in the distance and it's really quite lovely. The pullout couch bed however, is absolutely HORRENDOUS and to be honest, I'm quite upset that they even have the nerve to keep this horribly uncomfortable piece of junk in this room! It makes me feel terrible that I booked this room because the double bed room was way too expensive, and I figured having a pullout bed in her own little semi-private sitting room, would be a nice compromise, but the second I opened that thing and pulled it out, I was speechless! Not only is it paper thin, but it's got metal springs that poke through what's left of the padding! I invited my best friend to come on this trip with me, and she's not gotten more than an hour or two of consecutive sleep since we've been here! Drinks are usually stocked in the lobby, however bottled waters are scarce. Their snacks are way too overpriced and I can hear loud stomping from the floor above! Have seen quite a few reviews about vehicles being stolen and/or vandalized while parked in the unsecured hotel parking lot, but fortunately, we don't have a car! We are however, planning to rent one tomorrow so I'm a little concerned about its safety. I do love the fact that they only put a $50 hold on my card for the entire 3 nights stay! I've had other hotels charge me up to $150 for one night! So that's really nice. Also love the look of the building itself, the lobby and bar/restaurant are all really beautiful and inviting. Really liked the area too, close to airport and only a $16 Uber ride downtown and to tons of attractions such as the Downtown Aquarium (highly recommend!), the Museum of Nature and Science (also highly recommend!) and the Botanic Gardens (my absolute favorite of them all). Housekeeping upon request only, which I love! Overall, great value for the price but expect what you pay for! I'd definitely...

I choose this hotel due to the convenient location and room options it provided via my employer benefit package. Upon our arrival (My wife and I), we were checked in by the front desk representative named "Nikia". I'm not even able to recollect if we were greeted or welcomed. She asked for my info to look for the reservation. Once it was found, she proceeded to tell us that the room I booked was only available on the first floor. I responded by asking if there's anything they could do, because I'm not comfortable staying on the first floor and I would prefer not to. Her next response was to tell me, "there's nothing we can do. Would you like to cancel the reservation?" (With an attitude). I was appalled by the poor level customer service, but I maintained my composure. The gentleman, her co-worker, who seemed a bit more polished, intervened by offering an upgrade to the next room available in an upper floor which was only $10 extra. So, I decided to pay for it. But Nikia continued to be extremely rude, dismissive (Was mumbling & not enunciating) and condescending in her approach/communication/behavior. She asked for my phone number and I curiously asked her whether my number wasn't already assigned to the reservation. She immediately seemed annoyed. She sighed, rolled her eyes and never answered my question. I gave her the number. After completing the transaction, I turned to the gentleman who was also working at the front desk to voice my concern & frustration regarding her poor behavior and overall customer service. She disrupted my interaction with the other front desk representative while I was not addressing this to her at all and claimed that I was "yelling" at her that's why her behavior should be justified. This was a disturbing statement from Nikia because her coworker was standing right next to her assisting us as well the entire time. And there were cameras to prove that. She even attempted to disrupt my wife while my wife was interacting with her coworker regarding her (Nikia's) hostile behavior. There was no apologies at this point. We made our way to our room and the first thing we noticed was a muggy (lightly smokey smell) warm type of temperature in the room while realizing also that there was a cigarette burn on the couch. AC was off. We tried to turn it on and it wouldn't blow an adequate amount of cool air. At this point, I was done and ready to cancel the room to be reimbursed. We took our bags back and told the gentleman about our room experience/encounter. There was no apologies still. There was no offered alternatives for a switch-out, until I mentioned to him that it would've been nice trying to go above and beyond by giving us an option to maybe change room. But at this point, my wife and I were very uncomfortable and felt mistreated. I told the gentleman that I rather pay more money to go somewhere else that would value our business. So, we never stayed at this hotel and we're yet to have our refund. We were highly disappointed, especially with Nikia's lack of professionalism and...

Long review so apologies in advance. Up front. Rooms are nice but technology is ancient. Tvs kinda work and kinda don't. Fist night I got here pool was down. Location is awesome. Now for the reason for the 1 star review. At 5:30 pm while I was taking a nap some random stranger entered my room. Saw me in just my underwear. Once I composed myself and calmed down I realized that the ipad I had left to charge on the coffee bar was missing. So I went down to the front desk. This is where things went south fast. The lady behind the desk was horrible. She acted like she couldn't care less. She said it was no big deal and theese things happen and if it was her she would have just laughed it off. I told her that i was going to have to file a police report and she said that that was extreme and unnessary and no one would steal from me cause its a safe area. She then said that if i called the police then when they arrived she would just send them away cause i was being ridiculous. I asked to to please call the general manager cause this situation needed to be dealt with and she refused. So I asked for the general managers info and she pointed to the cards on the wall and walked away. At that point I just decided to go back to my room. Once I got there, my cards didn't work. So I had to go back down to the desk. As I approached, she told me that I need to go away and that I was making a scene and causing unnecessary problems. And I told her I haven't yelled. I haven't threatened. I've sworn a little bit because I'm upset. But I can't get into my room. Cause my cards aren't working. And she kept refusing to give me new keys and telling me to go away. Finally, she decided that she didn't want to deal with it. And she programmed my keys. So then I headed back up to my room. Tried to use the keys and they still didn't work. At that point I called the front desk from the phone by the elevators and let them know that my keys weren't working. And this was the second time and I asked them to please send somebody up with working keys to make sure I could get into my room. She refused and she said she wasn't going to do that. And if I wanted keys, I was gonna have to come back down to the front desk. So I went back down. She didn't even look at me. She just threw a new key card at me and walked away. The rooms are decent, but the service is absolutely horrific and they don't care. If something happens. In fact, they make you out to be the villain when they are in the wrong. Do not stay here. Your stuff isn't safe and you aren't safe. They will randomly give your key to somebody else for no reason. And then make you feel like it's your fault. Because they messed up and refuse to take any accountability. If I could I would blast her name here for the horrible customer service But she covered up her badge. And refused to give me her name...

Hotel looks nice, looks like it was recently renovated. Check in was simple, front desk was polite. The floor we stayed on, hallway had a sour smell. Rooms are spacious, however we had to change rooms since the toilet wouldn't flush. Told front desk and they informed us that they don't have a weekend maintenance person. Does not seem appropriate for a hotel that would be busy on weekends. New room had rust in the shower, pillows and bed were hard and uncomfortable, there was a white "mystery stain" on the side table of the bed, and the privacy blackout curtain wouldn't fully close, was broken and stripped, and they used white duct tape to try and mend it. I had to use cushions from the couch to block light from the street lights from the parking lot. The room had 2 phones, neither of them actually worked. The mirror in the bathroom has a Bluetooth connect to pay music, had to be officially the cheapest speaker they could have found. When we checked out, 4 staff members were sitting behind the desk just hanging out, 2 of them were in street clothes showing their shift was over. Lady at the front desk didn't ask how our stay was or anything, just asked if we wanted a receipt. Surprised that this is a three-star hotel. Will not be staying here again in the future and will hesitate to stay at other properties owned by this company in future.

Me and my friends came in early on a Sunday and had a room for that night but none were available at 7 when we got to the hotel. After only a few hours Jasmine at the front desk was able to accommodate me and my friends as soon as possible and also held our baggage when we went out for food. A truly wonderful individual who went out of her way to do the most. The room itself was Immaculate. Clean, organized, spacious, and all accomodations one could ask for in a hotel room. (Two tvs, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, couch, lounge chair, two beds, desk, roller chair, full bottles of shower products (not travel sized, FULL sized), Bluetooth mirror, etc) The amenities for the hotel itself were also nice, a good workout room with free weights, resistance machines and bikes and treadmills for casual cardio. The pool was a little on the small side as well as the hot tub, but still a nice scene on the inside. They also have a bar that was reasonably priced, inexpensive snacks, an alcohol fridge with bottles and cans open from 0800-2300 and complementary water for all guests. Overall a remarkable stay with very courteous staff and clean lobby/rooms. If I ever come to Colorado again I WILL be staying here and you should too.
