Hentzell is more of an open space vs. a traditional park. With that said, you will be hard pressed to find bathrooms, picnic areas, and a children's playground.
Instead, it is very reminiscent of a hybrid state park or reservoir area (without the water, of course 😉)
There is a well maintained bike /walking path here. That will carry you to the reservoir or downtown. With that said, it can be challenging depending on time and day for walkers. This is a heavily used area for bikers, and some of the courtesy has been thrown out the window for some.
This is definitely a four season park, with spectacular colors that can be found in the fall and luscious greens (depending on moisture) in spring and summer.
Wildlife is here as well, but you will have to travel the dirt paths and be patient to see them. That does bring a warning, though 😳, coyotes are present and optimistic hunters, I wouldn't walk small animals or older ones in the area. Especially the...

Down close by the river is a dirt trail that my dog loved to run on/explore and it made me feel like I was walking in a rural area even though we’re in the middle of town!
