Was very hungry.. Mexican I can do so I stopped here...I'm vegan but can usually find a Mexican place..if the don't put meat or use lard or milk in their guac. The girls assured me. I asked for a plain bean tostada and one guacamole tostada. Maybe 3 people besides me in the restaurant. I guess the cook didn't speak English cause it took about 10 minto explain I didn't want cheese. Finally When my food came I was very disappointed. You would think they are rationing their food . There was no beans or guacamole very very very thin thin layer in the center of the tostada shell a few sprigs of lettuce and that's it . I paid a lil over $6. Meaning the tostadas were about $3 a piece. I would really have no problem with a $3 tostada... if it could of had beans and guac on the tostada shell...come on !!! The food was super cheap and then they are going to ration ?? ... I expected more. Even at taco bell you get beans!!! Do not go here if you're hungry... I would suggest Taco Bell is a better alternative. Plus you would probably get more food for $6. The one star goes to the nice girls who...
Read moreI been trying to come to this place for some time. They close at 2pm. Which I think is a good idea/concept so owners and employees can spend tine with family. They have alcoholic drinks!! Food is great. I was with a group of 5 people and everyone liked their food. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chile fries (can choose of you dont want spicy chile or mild or hot) My husband had the coconut shrimp tacos. Delicious. Great ambiance and music. So great, but why the 4 stars: Well, one of our friends got there late. We had already ordered his food but forgot to get his drink, by the time he got there there was a long line to order and pay. So he asked if he can get a bottle drink from the fridge and pay once line was down, the guy preparing the food told him NO. He had to pay first! That gave us all a bitter taste. We had just spend around $60, we were eating in so its not like we were going to run out with out paying the drink. Anyhow, I would like to think that the guy didn't understand that my friend only wanted a drink so he can eat his burrito. Overall the...
Read moreI’m revising this after finally getting in to the place. They’re really a breakfast and lunch place. It may be the best breakfast burrito in town. Very consistent and great service. It’s the most expensive burrito in town, but totally worth it. You just have to get there by 2:00, I believe. I would go 5-stars if you could just go for dinner and a margarita.
Previous review:
I moved within a few blocks of this restaurant 5 months ago. I’ve tried to stop in here for food almost a dozen times, and every time I’ve tried, it’s been closed. Either their hours are so limited that it’s only good a for a few people, or they are only open when they feel like it. I hope I catch them open some time so I can review the food instead of...
