As I was talking to my new best friend, after moving here to Colorado, she told me she used to work at the Jack-in-the-Box so I said yeah I’m pretty hungry. Let’s go after going to the drive-through and place in our order which it took a little while we told him we didn’t have enough money for the entire order and the employee Literally said to us. What do you expect me to do with this order that you just order and again I apologize and told him we don’t have enough money. This is our budget and he literally looked at me and said really and I just said I’m sorry we only have this amount of money. I’m sorry I apologize. We thought we had more and saying that me and my friend both do not have jobs right now and we thought we had enough money to order what we did and then we double checked we realized we did not have enough money so I told him again. I really do apologize but I don’t know what we need to take off in the middle of talking to him about face turned around And was literally talking bad about us to one of his coworkers which was actually nice to us so then at the end, he changed the order and then asked us and we repeated it back to him twice. Then he told us them out and I told him that’s not right. What did he mark down and then again he got very upset with us, even got really mouthy, and his tone was just literally like felt like I stepped on his toe or literally crashed his car. He was just really upset. I don’t know if this is his first day. He acted like he was one of the managers there but I’m not sure he was wearing a jacket and a hat then he came back to us and said is there anything else I can do for you? Is that Lil yet and I said yep that’s it then they handed us our food then as we’re driving home and arrive home and realize that he gave us the wrong order he didn’t give us the correct so at this point I don’t feel comfortable calling the store and if there is a manager, they could please reach out to correct this situation. I greatly appreciate it again. My friend used to work there as well, so she felt really disrespected and upset and literally furious. Nice we were trying to be and how we really felt...
Read moreThe manger was taking orders. I know it was early in the morning around 9:30-10. My family wanted burgers. I wanted the family fun pack ( onion rings, jalapeño poppers, fries, ,..). We waited which is to be expected if they are making things fresh. We get home, I’m starving. The burgers are covered in some sauce. We don’t know maybe they just went a little heavy on that. So whatever those were eaten. The family fun pack. Let’s start with the it not in the right box. It has zero sauces. These two things I was like that kinda rude, I am hungry. Than we get to the jalapeño poppers, I have no freakin idea how many times you drop a jalapeño popper in the frier before you almost turn it black it burnt that badly. I guess congratulations this Jack n Box has accomplished that. The onion rings burnt, not as badly but still freakin burnt. Than I try a fry, I swear to you they been setting out for hours too. Almost like the day before shift used some of these. They thought will you know what I am just going to put those in the box. By this time I was completely done, pissed off too. It not that freakin hard to throw old things out and grab new stuff. I go back, I ask to manger. This is when I see she the one taking orders. I’m like here a clue, you are by two hotels that I am sure people live in. Maybe you want to do some quality control on your food. I just got my money back for the family fun pack. I will never go to this Jack n box location again. Apparently, they are just trying to supply the urgent care next door with people. The manager was laughing and screwing around with the people that burnt the crap out of the way old food, they thought was good. I can tell you that there no way anyone wants their food that way, un the less when it costs $10. Don’t go to this location. The gas stations hot dogs that sit out all day would be a better option than walking in here. Dumpster diving lunch would bring you higher quality, than this location. Unbelievable in just how bad it is here. The only nice thing I can say is from walking in, the appearance looks clean. That person is actually...
Read moreI’m a believer in companies should be a reflection of their communities but my experience here has been anything but pleasant. I was working at the Marriott nearby and was seeking a pt position and since I lived very close thought ‘why not?’ I applied because I saw they were hiring, when I went in to inquire about my application the older female (who identified herself as the assistant manager) vehemently told me ‘we’re no longer hiring’ I responded by letting her know I see their “Now Hiring” sign in the window, once again she short with me letting me know they weren’t hiring. Three weeks later the sign is still in the window (I pass this place everyday on my way to the Marriott), I went to their corporate website to see if they were hiring and to my surprise they were still hiring. I asked my Latina friend to apply and the assistant manger was ready to hire her. I wasn’t shocked because I felt deeply the assistant manager was racist. I called and left a message with corporate who could only leave a message for the general manager to contact me. After a week or two he finally calls back and I’m not sure what I said to him was he even concerned about it. With all the evidence I collected I could’ve brought a lawsuit against them for discrimination. I feel sharing my story hopefully will reach more eyes than I could count. If you’re Caucasian, Black or Asian don’t even apply here or eat there. Even if the offered me the highest position in that establishment I would decline. You only get one time to make an impression and theirs was below garbage standard. I’ve since left the Marriott, gotten into school full time to obtain my degree as a kitchen manager, I already had my certification but the college turned the certification program into a actual degree program, so I’m going back and one thing is for certain all colors, creeds, sexual orientations, and religions will be allowed to work...
