2nd visit this year and saddened to be told my favorite dish on the menu, Beef Rendang is no longer available. (No wait for my order as soon as I sat down, but then, took awhile to decide which to get after the sad Beef Rendang news.)

There is a change in management but, overall, food is still 👍.

We ordered: Mongolian Beef Kung Pao Chicken Roti Mango Boba soda

To-go: Chicken Fried Rice Green Curry Chicken

Overall, changes noticed was better lighting 👍. There were MORE diners, definitely a + as having Zume continue business is 👍 for this area.

Will still be a regular customer!

One of our ALL-TIME favorite food spot and this time, I am hoping, will become my friend's, too!

Friday afternoon meet-up and there were diners there even before us before 4pm.

Still, no wait for a table and a very friendly/warm welcome.

We ordered: Chili Ayam Malaca Beef Rendang Boba drink and a soda.

What else can I say but, it was a treat truly to end a hectic work week. My friend is now a Zume-convert lover! She 😍 the Boba and like me, had a bagful of dinner to go.

Still enjoying our favorite Zume in all these years. Have added a new favorite, Beef Rendang. For those that may second guess themselves due to the unique dish name, I will urge you strongly to try this dish. The sauce alone is to die for....super flavorful!

Of course, this does not mean all our other favorite items on their menu have been set aside. On the contrary, we have just added frequency of our take-out days to enjoy the different dishes we love.

If you are a first timer to Zume, you can't go wrong with the Chicken Satay, Combination Fried Rice, Green Curry Chicken, Penang Chicken, Beef Rendang, Lo Mein.....just try them and experience why we have been loooong Zume customers. Update : Dec 2017

Many return visits and have always gotten our "usual favorites" but, tonight, a mix-up in my order had me taking-out the Penang Curry (Chicken, was my meat choice) instead of my intended Green Curry Chicken. Never been so happy with a mix-up because the Penang Curry is now another favorite. It is creamy, spicy yet sweet, perfect for rice pairing. Surprisingly, the different vegetables in the dish is what I love the most. Oh, we also have Sweet and Sour Chicken, but have to hold off on my review as my focus was on the Penang Curry. Yes, it was that good.

This little gem of a place (fronting the Crown Plaza hotel) could easily be missed, even more with the inside a bit dark w/their lighting.

Our go-to "to go".....for quick delicious dinners. Love their House Fried Rice (shrimp is our favorite) , Green Curry Chicken and XO Chicken Combo. But the best is their customer service. Very fast AND always...

I ordered a shrimp Vietnamese noodle bowl, hot & sour soup, and two boba's(one with no boba and the other with extra boba) at 6:20pm 05/20/22. I received a call at 7:29pm saying they were out of coconut flavored tea for the boba and asked if I wanted another flavor. I asked for strawberry. I figured they would dropoff my order within 20-25 minutes, but I didn't get it until after 8:30pm. I completely understand that they were likely slammed, but Vietnamese food is already pretty pricey and to get your order delivered after 2 hours is ridiculous. Usually when I order through Beyond Menu it'll tell you the wait time and it emails a receipt with your order and again, the wait time, but I didn't receive it and never once saw a wait time. Had I known it would've been over 2 hours, I wouldn't have ordered food. Our food was cold, our boba drinks were primarily a full cup of ice with a quarter of strawberry flavored tea and both had a few pieces of boba. After waiting so long and becoming frustrated I called the restaurant numerous times. Someone would answer and hangup or answer and put me on hold, but I was never able to speak to anyone. I've never had any issue with Zume's and their food and boba are usually always great, but after this experience I will no longer be ordering...

I went here a few years ago and remember it being a much nicer restaurant all around. I was shocked when I came in, and the person sitting at the counter sat there a long time before seating us. The food....not at all that great. The service was absolutely terrible. One lady came in and waited for 15 minutes without being served and left. We waited 10 minutes between the dishes they brought out. It was clear that my rare steak pho had been sitting in the back for about 10 minutes since the rare steak was over done and the noodles were soggy. The fried rice was even soggy and had a strange flavor. We never got refills on our drinks, and by the end I really was wondering what happened to this place. The food had been so good along with the service just a few years ago! It was as if the person serving just didn't care AT ALL. I rarely leave less than a 20% tip, and only for bad service. But I found myself struggling to justify the 10% tip since the waitress basically just took our order and brought us drinks. She didnt even bring our food. I even had to go up and wait for several minutes for her to get off the phone just to pay my bill. It may as well have...
