Last night was my first experience with this location and was my worst experience with Pizza Hut. Its almost comedic.
Google character limit keeps me from telling the full 4.5 hour fiasco, but here's the a recap:
First and only delivery comes 30 minutes past estimated time arrival, which my usual experience at other locations is they show up earlier because the estimated arrival time has a lot of padding, especially on a non-peak night. Wrong pizza, wrong size, driver blames cook. Driver actually assumes he gets a tip and points the tip line out to me, without me having my complete order yet. Never shows back up, never calls, until 12:20 am, long after the store is closed to tell me he tried to deliver the pizza almost 3 hours after I last saw him. ( was this dude high or drunk?) There was also a call from the store just before midnight from a different line, no voicemail left. I stayed up late, with work and kid drop-off early in the morning, to avoid being woken up later on, only to have that exact thing happen. The store closed the ticket and charged my card without my signature with fill knowledge that I would not sign it until they made good on my order, breaking both company rules and probably credit card rules. Customer service rep at call center is awesome and issues full refund and says he'll email district manager.
I will check my credit card later this week to make sure the FULL REFUND...
Read moreI'm on vacation here in Colorado. From Albuquerque, New Mexico. I can honestly say food is not Denver's strong suit. At all. I have had some of the worst cuisine, in Denver. In my whole entire life. And I'm no spring chicken, and i have vacationed in 3rd world countries. Every restaurant I have gone I have had one problem, or another. But I can honestly say the pizza from this pizza hut totally reinforces those feelings. I wanted to like this pizza. I really did. Even after reading the bad reviews. But unfourtantly it was totally lacking. It really was barely luke warm if at all. One a good note. At least it wasn't raw. I had pizza from a Dominoes here in Denver, and that pizza was raw. I figured since they quoted me a hour and a half my food from this pizza hut would at least be hot. Another positive thing was that I was given crushed red pepper, and plates without asking. I was also very impressed with the driver. I would like to take the time to apologize for my dogs behavior to the wonderful driver. I'm so sorry sir. But I was very impressed how you handled my dog. And I am very sorry I didn't get your name but, you...
Read moreThis location refuses to answer their own calls, directs every call to the call center even when the call center people try to connect you direct to the location. Call center's map hasn't been updated any time soon. I've been in my neighborhood for a year and they don't have the address as a part of their mapping address. Instead of the call center people saying that when I gave my address they picked a random address that was close and an hour later the delivery person was in a neighborhood that was 45 minutes from mine. Though the call center people could see the Pizza Hut location was 1.3 miles from the address I provided (how they know that but can't find the house in their mapping system for delivery is beyond me) they had no way of getting in touch with that location directly to get the order in route or a solution to get their delivery mapping system updated. An hour later and my family is still hungry. It was a fairly large order too. We will deal with Dominos or Papa Murphys from now on, never providing my business to...
