A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Denver

We dined in and ordered 2 papa burger meals. The root beer was fine. Fries and onion rings were okay. The burgers were cold. You could feel how cold it was through the wrapper. We took them back up to the counter and the employee said he would remake them. He made them fresh and they were still cold. At this point, we noticed that the bread was mushy and all the vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion) were ICE COLD. We spoke with the manager who very defensively told us that the vegetables were going to be cold because they were kept in a cold place. We've been eating hamburgers for decades at various fast food and dine-in restaurants. This has never happened before. He issued us a refund for the burgers since we were fine with the drinks and sides. While we were there, one employee was on her break and seemed to be scrolling social media because loud videos would play every so often. We witnessed the manager scold one of the employees for standing around. Another employee used gloves to take the order (touching all the buttons and equipment upfront) and did not change them before handling food. Do not go here stay as far away as possible this location is a black eye to the a&w name. Our food was a Completely a mess 1st the wrapper on my burger was ripped in more the one place as Well as saturated in grease the burger was a total mess a monkey could do better I'm sure the fries must have been made over an hour ago they were absolutely disgusting nasty nasty my dog won't even eat them and as for the root beer float no ice cream at all I mean maybe a half scoop, if that. the pop was flat and warm how do you get warm root beer when it's supposed to be ROOT BEER FLOAT AND On top of it all we had nobody ahead of us yet we waited 12 min from the time we placed the order this place is an embarrassment to the A&W NAME THEY NEED TO FIX THIS HOWEVER I THINK IT MUCH TO LATE WE WILL NEVER EVER NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION AND THAT'S A CRYING SHAME I hope they right this wrong i'v never had this bad of an experience ever with a fast food establishment and I have had a few whoppers this takes the cake it's a sad day for a&w this place could spell the end for them if not...

Horrible customer service! We came into the store at 9:30pm and there was only one other customer in the store ahead of us. We ordered and about 5 others came in behind. Each person got their order before us, as we continued to wait for around 30 minutes. The service was terrible. The two girls working were too busy laughing and gossiping and having to apologize to customers that they "weren't laughing at them". After we finally received our food, one of the girls rudely handed us our order and snapped "you're welcome" as she handed me the receipt, without even giving us a chance to speak and continued making snide remarks as we were walking out. When we got out, we also realized we were missing half of our order and all of our food was cold and soggy, but decided against even returning. Aside from the terrible service, the restaraunt was filthy. They had overflowing trash cans sitting in the middle of the store with garbage just caked in the place where the cans go.
