So not very satisfied when I pulled into the drive threw no one welcomed me and I was the only one in line no one was even a head of me. I waited 5min after saying hello and asking the box if they were closed no answer so I started to leave then a girls voice asked me how can I help you. I said oh you are open I was just about to leave I had been waiting for several minutes. I had the app pulled up on my phone and was looking to get the deal for the frappes buy one get one for a .01 I explained to her that I had this coupon she then asks me what flavor. I wasnt sure so I asked her what flavors there were. She then replies back to me with sarcasm saying you didnt read the menu while you were waiting all that time. I said to here no I was more concerned with weather you were open or not. She then makes the hmmm sound like she didnt believe that I had been waiting. So I didnt finish my order drove back around to give this situation another go around. When she greats me she is laughing saying welcome to McDonalds how may I help you. I dont say any thing for a couple minutes until she says to me order when your ready so I place my order I get two frappes and to sausage burritos. When I pulled to the window the girl with the purple blueish blond hair doesn't great me. This is why I'm giving 2 stars because the guy steps in and tells me sorry about that. U asked him was she the one who placed my order he says yes. While shes making my frappes she keeps looking threw the window and giving me a unpleasant not welcomed look. The guy apologizes again and grabs my frappes when heading me the first one he says let me get you a napkin for it cause frappe was all down the side. Then he hands me the other frappe and I almost drop it in my lap because the lid was not even all the way on it. He continues to tell me sorry and thanks me for my business and apologizes for the whole incident one last time so I say threw the window to the girl that she needs to learn some customer service from this guy and I thanked him and drove away. This is not one of the first bad experiences I've had at this McDonalds it's really kind of a joke and needs new management and some new staff. It's just right down the street from me just make sure you check your order is right before you leave the window because 7 out of 10 it's wrong and they wont answer the phone nor return a message oh and ask for your proof of purchase AKA your receipt because without one they look at you like a criminal awful and...
Read moreI tried to go to the McDonald's (store 7365) at 21659 E. Quincy Ave. in Aurora for lunch today. When I entered the store, there was nobody at the front counter so I went to a kiosk and put in my food order, then I went and stood at the front counter to wait for someone to take my cash. After 7 or 8 minutes, four other customers were behind me in line, and there was still nobody at the front counter. I kept seeing the manager, Cyrus, walk back and forth from the kitchen to the Uber Eats counter - but he never even glanced to see if there was anyone at the registers, and I had to yell to get his attention.
When he walked over, he shrugged and said "We don't have anyone to work the front counter today, and I am the only one handling orders - so it will be a while." He did not offer an apology. Then he turned his back on me and the other four customers in line and went back to the Uber Eats counter. I asked for his name and the store number. He just said "Cyrus" and kept walking.
I never got my order, and I left without getting anything to eat - so I can't provide a review of the food. I sent a complaint to McDonald's Corporation, but I doubt I will hear back from them.
On a related note, while I was waiting for service I noticed that most of the tables were dirty. There were also discarded straw wrappers on the floor in the lobby.
My best advice is to avoid this location at all costs. There are plenty of other locations nearby that are cleaner, have better customer service and are properly staffed and managed.
My advice for Cyrus would be this: If you don't have anyone available to staff the registers, either hire more people or put up signs to let customers know that the front registers are closed and save customers the inconvenience of standing in line for no reason. Read moreThis location seems to be running behind and non efficiently every time we go. We are a family of 10 and eat here once a week. We are always asked to pull into the waiting area slot one or two to wait for our food which is fine we're a large family with a large order. that gives them plenty of time to make sure everything is correct however each time our Quarter Pounders and our Double Quarter Pounders come out Raw. we always get 4 happy meals the sides are always incorrect and they never have our juices we're constantly having to ask for stuff that was large to be made into a large as they hand us mediums and Smalls. on several occasions I've had to go back because they got chicken nugget Happy Meals completely wrong with cheeseburger Happy Meals which may not seem like a big deal to some but when you have small children fighting over food it's a huge deal to me. the other frustration we have is that often we pay with $100 bill and this location no longer accept hundred-dollar bills because their employees are too lazy to check if they're fake apparently they've been getting a lot of counterfeits. instead of training their staff they insist that the consumer adjust for them this is McDonald's they should be able to...
