I ordered food here on the way home. When I called I asked how long, they said 15 minutes. I asked them if they were sure; they said yes. I showed up to pick up my food 30 minutes later. I figured the extra 15 minutes would ensure my food was ready for pick up. When I arrived, they said they were busy and now needed 25 minutes to prepare the food. This would mean almost an hour wait from ordering. Not like the 15 minutes I was assured it would take when I ordered. So I left, and returned 30 minutes later. When I entered, they said they are still busy and I need to wait. They had two tables eating food, and 2 other patrons waiting for food. Phone rang twice the whole time. They were not busy. Instead of just leaving, I sat and waited another 15 minutes. Then I got up and asked if the food has even been started yet. They said that it will be ready in 10 minutes. So I waited. 10.. 15.. 20.. more minutes. After an hour and 40 minutes of waiting. Both tables and both people waiting for their food all left. They each, for some reason, felt obligated to apologize to me for how I was being treated at this restaurant. I guess because they kept lying to me. Three customers said they were not coming back because of what they witnessed. They held me there for 10 to 15 minute Increments. Consistently telling me it would be another 10 minutes, 15 minutes. Never returning to this place. They were also very dirty...

I have been driving past this place for years and decided to stop in on my way home from work last night.

It is a rather large place with lots of tables, but there were no other customers when I walked in, in fact the were surprised when I said I was eating there. After sitting is a chair that definitely did not fit the table, I noticed I could not smell food. Is this a good thing for a restaurant? I am a huge fan of Vietnamese egg rolls and combination rice noodle bowls so that is what I ordered. The egg rolls looked like they had been cooked and recooked. They were served cut in half and all the ends were dried out. I was told they were beef but they tasted like chick liver and the texture was awful. I did not eat them and the server was very put out that I did not like them.

The rice noodle bowl, while a nice portion size, was as equally unappetizing. The chicken was old and dried out, the shrimp was over cooked and the beef was dry and tasteless. The noodles and the veggies were good though.

Since I was the only customer in the place, the lady at the counter sat and watched me the whole time I was eating.

When the check arrived, I was charged for the egg rolls but given a partial courtesy discount... Hmmm. I took the remainder of my food with me but threw it in a trash can later.

Go to the Spicy Chili Thai restaurant on Mexico and Chambers, they are...

Do the lunch, as dinner costs a few dollars more for no reason. Luckily they do free delivery within 4 miles, but of course after a tip for the driver it's basically still paid delivery. Wasn't the best food, but the portion sizes are generous enough that you can have leftovers or share. I ordered vegetable fried rice and my father got combination fried rice. Egg rolls were majorly expensive and not good. I ate half of one and threw the other away. The woman who took my order on the phone was very impatient when I asked questions about their menu as I had never eaten there before. She told me I only get two soy sauce packets and if I wanted more she's going to charge me. I thought I'd really love this place after all the pretty pictures. Maybe if I would had dined in it would have been a different experience. Over $35 for two people (one of which doesn't even eat meat) seems a bit pricey to me. Absolutely no reason for me to come back here and I wouldn't...

Unfortunately quite a disappointing experience on my first visit. I ordered pad se yu, which is one of my very favorites, and I have ordered it at many different Thai places in the past. I give them 5 out of 5 for amount of food (they give you a lot!), but 1 out of 5 for flavor. The noodles are VERY bland with hardly any sauce on it, zero spice, and it is like 90% just noodles with only like 5 pieces of broccoli in it. Price was quite reasonable, but I doubt I will go back as I will probably end up throwing most of this away. Wish I could give a more favorable review, but the flavor is the most blah of any Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at. Had to come and edit - I gave my dog some in her dinner and she would not even eat them! She spit them on the floor and left them in her dish while eating every kibble. 🤣🤣

I came in alone on a Tuesday evening, it was quiet other than a few other tables. Servers were prompt and friendly. I order Thai tea, Tom yum goong and shrimp basil. The tea had a nice tea leaf flavor, the soup was great too. The basil shrimp was not very spicy, but it had good flavor and a nice presentation. The bell peppers, however, had a very off taste. A few of the chunks may have gone bad, I eventually scooted one to the side that did appear to have some spots. I really wanted to rate this place higher because until I got to those pepper pieces I was loving the flavor and the shrimp itself was really good. Everything else seemed fresh and crisp, tasty. I'll give them another try since all else was good.
