2024 Update: Lunch with 6 others and was immediately seated. Our visit was on a weekday and knowing Rosie's gets really busy, my suggestion is to come between 11amd 11:30 or delay til 1:30-2pm. We were served by a very pleasant lady, quick, efficient and very patient with the group I was with. Got different items, the chicken fried steak was praised very highly except, the portion from the 55+ and over was a tad smaller than probably that from the regular menu. I guess, that is good as our friend wanted more of it. 👍 All were happy about the food and the service so will be back . 2023 Update: Have upped original review to 4-stars. Went on a Friday afternoon, 4:00'ish. Was seated immediately but, by the time we left, there was a wait of about 5 parties. The place looked and felt brighter from my last visit. A better feel altogether. Had: Fried Mushrooms (appetizer) thumbs 👍 Pork Chop dinner Steak (To-go) American Classic cheeseburger 👍 Chili Relleno The mushrooms was the best. Highly recommend! My Pork chops were cooked as I like it, the grill taste making it very tasty and thankfully, the chop cut had a little bit of fat which, I prefer versus an all-lean meat cut. I opted for the Spanish Rice and Mashed Potato w/brown gravy as sides. Both were just OK. My friend gave her thumbs-up on her steak but, had the same thing to say about the Spanish Rice. Our server was very pleasant and quick. Great customer service. With the Fried Mushrooms still on our minds, we will definitely be returning. Free Parking / More than enough parking spaces Original Review : 2018 (thereabout) -------‐------------------------------------------------ This is totally telling of our dining experience. It's been weeks since our visit but both my husband and I cannot remember what we had and have misplaced the receipt for reference. What I do remember was the tepid coffee and their candy cum knick-knack counter by the entrance. They had candies that are from way back and hard to find nowadays.

This diner was no joke, amazing! I will admit, when we went, it was full on crowded (Though to be fair, going to a diner around noon on a weekend, you it's nothing to be shocked about), and we were able to grab a seat even though it looked like all the seats were occupied (Another disclaimer, if you're someone who is worried about social distancing and all that, this will NOT be the place for you). Its very asethetically pretty to look at in the inside. You know those diners that giving that "retro" vibe with vibrant neon colors, malt shakes, pictures of famous people and newspaper clipping drapped everywhere; even a JUKEBOX as soon as you enter the place! The customer service was pretty good! Our waitress was super polite and was very good about refilling our drinks and making sure our needs as customer was met, which I thought was really good considering the place was swamped and it can be pretty easy to mess up when you're catering to many tables at once. The only real issues we had was the timing, which I am more than understanding about considering the occupancy of the diner at that time. The food was amazing! We were feeling up for some breakfast food, so I had their Stuffed French Toast and my parter had their Panackes with some eggs, sausage, etc. Now I rarely get to say this about any resturaunt in regards to their food, but the presentation was EVERYTHING! They came out with our dishes and both my French Toast and his pancakes looked perfect, like it was too pretty to eat. And it was as delicious as they looked too! It was everything. Another thing is that this food is kind of pricey, but I can assure you that if you can spare the expense, this place will not only be worth the wait, but worth the money!

I had looked up some of the best places to eat in the area prior to our trip out there and based on the reviews, this was on my list. I'm glad we didn't miss it and highly recommend to stop here. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. I think my favorite touch was the stools up front reserved for legendary icons and the mini jukeboxes at each table. If you love diners or that nostalgic classic feel, you'll love the atmosphere here. It was a weekday morning when we stopped in so it wasn't busy at all. The food portion was plenty and delicious, I only wish we would've had room for pie because they all looked amazing. Our waitress, Brittany, was incredibly friendly and chatted with us for a bit. We got the breakfast sampler and the Veggie omlette. Definitely vegetarian options for the breakfast lovers, but would love to see more options for a lunch and dinner menu like a plant based burger that can also work for Vegans (unless I overlooked an option for this.) It seemed like the Mushroom burger could be easily modified to fit as a plant based option without adding the beef or chicken.

We eat at this restaurant quite often and love getting salads from here. Tonight we decided to order togo salads. We are over a 25 minute drive away there and 25 minutes back home. We were told the salad dressing comes on the side, when we asked. We come home and one of the salads was drenched in caesar dressing- all soggy and not edible. The other salad didn’t have any dressing on it and NONE in the togo bag. And we of course didn’t have any at home. The salads are supposed to come with a dinner roll each and only one was in the bag, which was hard as a rock and stale. And the salads are half the size they normally are in the restaurant for the togo order. We called the restaurant and spoke to Catalina who told us in order for us to get a refund we would have to drive another 25 minutes there to drop the food off and another 25 minutes back home to then find another place to get dinner at. Or we could get a credit but we would need to show pictures when we come in to get the credit. I’m very disappointed and displeased of this whole experience.

We came during lunch on Sunday. There was no wait time and the food was decent, but I was not super impressed with the overall experience. We sat at the bar in front of the shake machines and I felt like all of the servers were using the counter space next to me as storage and stacking up things as high as they could. Our server was polite and attentive, but I don't think I saw her smile once. There were several employees who seemed to be more focused on the football game playing on TV, than attending customers. I also witnessed one of the employees consuming a milkshake by the ice machine. I don't have a problem with employees drinking milkshakes, but I shouldn't see it if they are on the clock. My biggest complaint against Rosie's Diner today, would be the cleanliness of the restaurant, as a whole. Paying attention to detail cleaning of ceilings, ledges, corners, cracks, and floors is just as important as making sure your customers have a clean table to eat upon.

I normally go in to eat, and I always order the same thing which is a grill chicken salad with only lettuce, tomato cheese, and croutons. I decided to order to go, and I called called and placed the order with Elida - When I was telling her what I wanted she said It would be easier if I told her what I did not want on the salad. No one has ever asked me that and I was a little thrown off, and I just kindly reiterated the toppings that I did want on the salad. When I went to get the salad, I was in a rush and did not check my salad so when I got home, I was so upset to find that my salad was incorrect. I did call back and speak with a manager. He was very kind and offered to fix it for me and we went over the toppings for separate times times during the conversation I went to pick it up. It was incorrect. At this point, I would not suggest eating there if it is so hard for them to get a simple salad order incorrectly.
