Horrible experience; after waiting a realistic 30 minutes (Sunday Brunch) and finally getting a table for 2; I soon realized the wait was far from over and that I'd be waiting my entire meal.....well....for my meal. I ordered a Full order of biscuits and gravy with a side of 2 eggs and extra gravy. Per their menu a full order of biscuits and gravy is; 4 biscuit halves smothered with gravy and hashbrowns. I was wildly surprised when the food was placed on my table and all I received was 1 biscuit ON A SMALL PLATE, 2 eggs ON A SMALL PLATE and 1 bowl of gravy ON A SMALL PLATE. Once the waiter came back to the table I reminded him (Adan) that I ordered a Full order of biscuits and gravy and was missing an entire biscuit and the hashbrowns and that I would like an actual normal sized plate for it all. The waiter left to get the remainder of my order. Or so I thought; now this is where I started to get upset. When the waiter returned (Adan) he only returned with another biscuit ON A SMALL PLATE, and a large plate. (I had to plate the food myself but I did not yet have my full order). Again I needed to remind the waiter (Adan) that I am still missing my hashbrowns at this point. Now with my food mostly eaten and whatever was left was cold. They're extremely incompetent waiter (Adan) finally arrived with my hashbrowns at the end of our meal......ON A SMALL PLATE!!! At this point I now had 5 small plates and one large plate; that I had to dish myself. It took every bit of self control I had to not strangle this man as I had not eaten all morning and this was my first meal of the day. To sum this up I was lucky to get out of there without an assault charge. If you expect the absolute minimum out of your service providers AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST the minimum standard doesn't exist at this establishment. The low standards just keep getting lower. We spent an entire hour waiting for food only to have my meal come out piece buy piece every 10-15 minutes. My friends and family will surely never...
Read more2024 Update: Lunch with 6 others and was immediately seated. Our visit was on a weekday and knowing Rosie's gets really busy, my suggestion is to come between 11amd 11:30 or delay til 1:30-2pm.
We were served by a very pleasant lady, quick, efficient and very patient with the group I was with.
Got different items, the chicken fried steak was praised very highly except, the portion from the 55+ and over was a tad smaller than probably that from the regular menu. I guess, that is good as our friend wanted more of it. 👍
All were happy about the food and the service so will be back .
2023 Update: Have upped original review to 4-stars.
Went on a Friday afternoon, 4:00'ish. Was seated immediately but, by the time we left, there was a wait of about 5 parties.
The place looked and felt brighter from my last visit. A better feel altogether.
Had: Fried Mushrooms (appetizer) thumbs 👍 Pork Chop dinner Steak
(To-go) American Classic cheeseburger 👍 Chili Relleno
The mushrooms was the best. Highly recommend! My Pork chops were cooked as I like it, the grill taste making it very tasty and thankfully, the chop cut had a little bit of fat which, I prefer versus an all-lean meat cut. I opted for the Spanish Rice and Mashed Potato w/brown gravy as sides. Both were just OK.
My friend gave her thumbs-up on her steak but, had the same thing to say about the Spanish Rice.
Our server was very pleasant and quick. Great customer service. With the Fried Mushrooms still on our minds, we will definitely be returning.

Original Review : 2018 (thereabout) -------‐------------------------------------------------ This is totally telling of our dining experience. It's been weeks since our visit but both my husband and I cannot remember what we had and have misplaced the receipt for reference. What I do remember was the tepid coffee and their candy cum knick-knack counter by the entrance. They had candies that are from way back and hard to...
Read moreThis diner was no joke, amazing! I will admit, when we went, it was full on crowded (Though to be fair, going to a diner around noon on a weekend, you it's nothing to be shocked about), and we were able to grab a seat even though it looked like all the seats were occupied (Another disclaimer, if you're someone who is worried about social distancing and all that, this will NOT be the place for you). Its very asethetically pretty to look at in the inside. You know those diners that giving that "retro" vibe with vibrant neon colors, malt shakes, pictures of famous people and newspaper clipping drapped everywhere; even a JUKEBOX as soon as you enter the place! The customer service was pretty good! Our waitress was super polite and was very good about refilling our drinks and making sure our needs as customer was met, which I thought was really good considering the place was swamped and it can be pretty easy to mess up when you're catering to many tables at once. The only real issues we had was the timing, which I am more than understanding about considering the occupancy of the diner at that time. The food was amazing! We were feeling up for some breakfast food, so I had their Stuffed French Toast and my parter had their Panackes with some eggs, sausage, etc. Now I rarely get to say this about any resturaunt in regards to their food, but the presentation was EVERYTHING! They came out with our dishes and both my French Toast and his pancakes looked perfect, like it was too pretty to eat. And it was as delicious as they looked too! It was everything. Another thing is that this food is kind of pricey, but I can assure you that if you can spare the expense, this place will not only be worth the wait, but...
