We ordered for delivery via DoorDash, and the food was scheduled to be delivered around 7:15 PM. At 9:00, the food arrived. Well, not our food. We had ordered two chicken sandwiches, a six-piece nuggets entree, fries, and a vanilla Frosty. The food that came was, instead, two burgers, fries, cheese fries, and a chocolate Frosty. We don't know whether this was someone else's order, whether the deliveryman took the wrong order, or whether Wendy's themselves messed up our order.
We attempted to call the corporate customer service line, but they were closed for the day (should be 24/7). We then attempted to contact the local Wendy's restaurant (the restaurant the order came from), but they did not pick up the phone after five calls.
We have only been there one other time, but here is a run-down of that experience: the cashier tried to argue with us when we asked where our Frosty was, claiming that we didn't order one. (His colleague had to inform him that we did, indeed, order a Frosty.) The tables were dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a few hours, and there were no napkins at the drink/concession area to clean off the tables ourselves. The food also took longer than you might expect when there was no one else in the restaurant. That experience might've earned 2/5 stars (possibly even 3/5 because the food was very good), but after this experience, we have given up trying with this Wendy's location.
Updated ( As of 5/7/22): After avoiding this place after our last fiasco, we decided to revisit this place, as opposed of ordering through door dash to avoid any incidents. The place was very empty when we went; at first we were worried that the resturaunt was pickup/delivery only. However, the guy at the counter greeted our order and handed us our receipt. Now be warned; the inside was very dirty and unkept. It seems they were m ore worried about the drive-thru/online orders than people wanting to order and dine in. The floors hadnt been swept, the condiment station had trash around it, the tables were dirty with crumbs with some of the chairs not even pushed in. Everything else was fine though - the drink machine they have had any drink we could for, the food ready in no time, had our order correct, even the fries were salted to perfection, with the chicken having that perfect amount of crisp to much on. I asked the manager on duty Brenda if I could use the bathroom I explained that I am a paying customer that I just needed to use the bathroom before I ordered because it was an emergency she told me that I needed to pay first and than she would give me the code to the restroom. As I quickly lost my appetite I still ordered a drink , even tho I ordered a drink the drink machine was down after that she still didn’t want to give me the code but came and opened the door so I could use it after being very rude to me. All the tables are dirty it’s no where to even sit not to even mention the whole drink machine is down so I paid for something I can’t even receive , I’m also a manager at a 7-11 so I know how customers should be treated and she treated me very poorly but I watched her be nice to the customers before me. Sounds to me like Ms Brenda needs a little more training on how to be a manager and treat their customers , I understand that this might be a tough location but I’m not homeless or a bum so to be treated as such , I will never come back to this location. I would like to speak to an area leader or someone above her to express this concern and how you can lose loyal customers by the way you treat people.
