The fried kibbeh was terrific — generous amounts of juicy beef in the inside, crispy on the outside. It came with 2 sauces — a tangy yogurt tahini sauce, and a dark sweet and slightly fruity sauce. Both sauces went really well with the kibbeh!
Though nicely fried, the falafel was more plain than we’re used to. Perhaps their Syrian falafels don’t include parsley or spices like cumin or cayenne. They were drizzled with the two sauces above. The hummus and cucumber-tomato salad were tart, too sour for my liking.
The grilled kebab meat was excellent (nicely seasoned, good quality beef/lamb), but the wrap it came in was disappointing. Warning: it looks nothing like its photo on the menu.
