High Noon — Restaurant in Austin

⚠️WARNING ⚠️ Bill I signed is not what I was charged. I tipped 20% but they must have wanted more... Didn't get a customer receipt, but thought nothing of it.. now I know why.. don't trust this place and make sure to get a receipt. Feel ripped off.

Other than being ripped off, the place is a grungy dive. It sounds like it was nice 3 years ago, but now everything looks and smells sticky and dirty. Drinks are over priced and low quality. I don't know why anyone would want to come here unless there is live music playing and you're too drunk to care that you're likely getting tetanus from touching anything.

There are so many better places. It's like the owners don't care anymore. Have no idea how this place is still open. Wouldn't be surprised if it is...

High noon is NOT a bar I’d recommend. The food was the only decent thing at this bar, but they had no order calling system meaning by the time I got my food it was cold. I had an extremely rude and aggressive bouncer confront me. Even though I was peaceful and leaving immediately when asked. He proceeded to get in my face cursing and following me. Making me feel unsafe. He was probably drunk himself. There is no excuse for treating anybody like this. You should never make a customer feel physically at risk. I miss Craftsman, but High Noon is a worthy shoe-filler. The atmosphere and interior is absolutely beautiful (seriously, the bathroom is to die for and 100% drunk girl group selfie worthy). Drinks are great and it's never too too crowded. Small outside area out back and several tables spaced out out front. Bartenders are super friendly and have great suggestions if you're unsure! Location is great too, just down Cesar Chavez from downtown, right across from Drinks Lounge and next to Long Play (formerly Stay Gold, another RIP mention).
