If you're hunting for a spot that checks all the boxes for organic, vegan, and with gluten-free options, look no further than ATX Food Co. in Austin! The food here isn't just delicious; it's a revelation in how tasty plant-based eating can be. Every dish I tried was a vibrant showcase of natural flavors, proving that good ingredients really do make the difference.

The team at ATX Food Co. is as delightful as the menu. They were incredibly friendly, patiently walking me through their offerings as I wavered over what to choose—a true testament to their customer service. It's rare to encounter staff who are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely excited to talk about their food and its nutritional benefits.

Speaking of passion, the owner's enthusiasm is palpable. It’s evident that they pour their heart into the cuisine and are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle through their culinary creations. This commitment not only enhances the dining experience but also builds a trusting relationship with their patrons.

Given the fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere, it's no surprise that ATX Food Co. has garnered high ratings. I’m already planning my next visit; this place is a gem for anyone invested in a healthy, holistic diet. Trust me, finding a spot that serves up organic, vegan, and gluten-free delights all under one roof is no small feat, and ATX Food Co. does...

What an incredible experience. To say these are by far the best ever vegan tacos I have ever had may not mean much to most; but to people that know me it is an undeniable fact. I The Wild Mushroom taco had flavors that reminded me of my childhood eating my grandmother's cooking. I felt like I was there, that's the kind of experience I am describing. The Breakfast taco was phenominal. The squash blew my mind and the flavors were outstanding. Did I mention that pickled cabbage is the ultimate companion to the tacos. I could taste everything and the sesame seeds. It was the perfect balance, like those rocks some people stack at the beach.

I asked about dessert and took the recommendation for a mango smoothie. I was headed to the airport so waited until I got in the car to take my first sip. If I was still at the place I would have reached in and hugged everyone in the van. Alright, enough said because I am back home now and there is no one any where near me that gets as close to that smoothie. There are vegan places that specialize in various plant-based dishes, juices, and smoothies but not this close.

If you could not tell, I enjoyed ATX and when back in Austin will definitely visit...

Man, I just ordered the wild mushroom sushi salad and bowl of coconut soup together for dinner with a cup of mango chia sea moss pudding. I added an extra spicy ginger salad dressing to put on the salad With the green goddess. Absolutely the best Soup/Salad combination I’ve ever had Anywhere. I added broccoli to my salad and it was Perfect.

I was feeling a bit out of whack physically and this amazing meal helped me feel so much better than before. I love this establishment. Probably in my top three vegan/vegetarian options available in this town along with Bouldin Creek Cafe and Casa De Luz. Which is a huge compliment. They both have been holding it down respectively for 20+ years. I hope to see them grow to a brick and mortar before too long. Although this Oltorf location at the bike shop outside in the covered patio is Quite nice. Almost hate to let the secret out of the bag. Also, those breakfast pancakes and smoothies. Not to mention the Real deal Sea moss by the half pound. I researched it. They offer some of the finest. Thank you to both...

So, I love that Atx food co is trying to offer natural, sugar free, oil free vegan meals, and I really enjoyed the brisket taco we got for lunch. But, unfortunately, there were some issues with the service that really brought down our visit. Firstly, the food was really slow to come out (like maybe 30 minutes before our first entree came out). Not too big of a deal, we weren't in a hurry, but when the food finally did come out, we only had two of our three entrees, and neither of our drinks. By the time the final meal came out (the pancakes) the other two in the party had already finished their lunch. ... and we still had neither of our drinks. The staff member had to ask us several times what our drink order was before we finally were able to pick them up as we were leaving the venue. I'm hopeful that this was a one time thing, and I would love to come back and give some of their smoothies and other entrees a try. Just hoping that these timing / coordination issues can be addressed.

Located in a parking lot near a bike shop we were expecting to see other trucks and kind of just drove past lol. I enjoyed the different spin on tacos from this food truck. I ordered 3 tacos, the mushroom, squash and the BBQ tempeh and I rate them in that order. The mushroom taco was absolutely delicious, the BBQ tempeh was not my favorite I thought it needed some BBQ sauce, but I am not Texan so perhaps that's just how brisket is supposed to be. Each taco has avocado and a red cabbage slaw and sesame seeds and some sauce. The taco itself is made of spelt flour which was different and delicious as I honestly do not like corn tortillas and was happy to try something new. They also serve juices and smoothies.
