Austin's Pizza Braker — Restaurant in Austin

We recently moved and this was our first experience ordering Austin's Pizza at the 183/Braker location. While we normally love Austin's Pizza, we had a very disappointing experience yesterday evening. Shortly after placing our order, Austin's Pizza Corporate gave us a call to let us know that this location was out of habanero peppers. In order to make up for it, they told us that they would double up on jalapeños.

When the delivery driver arrived at our address he called my phone about 10 times - half of the time it was a misdial from inside his pocket, and the other part of the time he was calling to figure out how to get into the building. I decided to meet him downstairs in the lobby, but was disappointed to have to make the small trip since we paid a decent tip already. When I got back upstairs, I opened the pizza (that had become slightly cold) and the jalapeños were not doubled up (as promised) and the pizza was not double cut (as ordered).

Hopefully our next experience will not end up like this one. We still love the taste of Austin's Pizza, but are looking for a little better customer service and accuracy...

I was on the phone for 3 mins with their terrible ai, I’ve been going here since I was a child and I’m upset with this lack of local or human experience. The ai recommended I use their online ordering 3 times, which didn’t work as two sauces couldn’t be chosen thru mobile ordering. Great job! I was told to leave a name for the voice mail which I refused, and was hung up on by the ai. Wouldn’t recommend their pizza anyway as the only thing I order is their pizza rolls. More like ai pizzas, thanks for the local love. Going to double Dave’s instead.

Edit: Went to double Dave’s with no problem, got a human on the phone and finished the conversation within 2 mins. Also try Lil Deli, Home slice or east side pies for decent local pizza! AI Pizza can’t be bothered to reply to bad reviews. Check their review history on here if you don’t trust...

Only order at this location if you’re interested in poor customer service. This is about the second time I’ve ordered pizza from here and the individuals that work here have TERRIBLE service. They are rude, inattentive, and could care less about serving customers or representing their business! Even as a door dasher I’ve came to this location to pick up orders and the attitudes are THICK! They stare at you like you don’t belong, don’t speak or greet you instead say “Can I help you???!” In a rude tone like you’re bothering them on vacation. It’s trash, pizza is great but the mood and response from employees makes me not want to spend money at this establishment at all. Truly disgusting. I’ll tell everyone about this location and not to visit the rudeness..word of mouth will hit them where it hurts! DO NOT SPEND...
