Bazille is a hidden restaurant where on this busy day at the Domain NORTHSIDE found a seat at the bar. This time I ordered the Portabella Mushroom Ravioli. The bartender was great and serviced us well. The fresh bread was splendid and the ravioli tasted delicious. We had a another great time enjoying lunch here.

While shopping at Nordstrom my wife and I decide to enjoy lunch at Bazille. We seem to be early where few were dining here and we were seated on the balcony facing the low rise buildings at the Domain NORTHSIDE. Of all the times I have been here I never sat on the balcony so felt like a new experience.
I ordered a glass of Rosé and the Portabella Mushroom Ravioli where the menu stated included oven roasted tomatoes, basil, and parmesan cream sauce. Our server was very nice and friendly.
Soon our food arrived and the ravioli was nicely presented and tasted unbelievably good. It had great flavor and delicious. It was a nice to enjoy relaxing lunch on the balcony where the weather was nice and pleasant.

On a day of last minute holiday shopping I needed a something to lightly fill me up, and since I was at Nordstrom decided to have an early lunch at Bazille. I have been here before and the food has always been good. On this occasion decided to sit at a table versus hang out at the bar. I looked the menu and selected a cup of the Signature Housemade Soup which was Potato Soup.
When my cup of soup arrived it was nicely beautifully presented with a piece of toasted bread on top. The soup was outstanding with wonderful flavor. It had tasty ingredients and nice and warm. I almost regret from ordering a bowl but a cup was sufficient.

I have loved this place so much since it opened, however my last 3 visits I have been let down exponentially.
1.) To -Go order French dip (20 dollars) was burnt. I am shocked that it was even allowed to leave the kitchen. I did not see it until I got back to my desk and had to walk back to get another one. 2.) Placed an order with door dash two weeks ago. Said the wait time was 20-32 minutes. I walked over over 35 minutes later and the hostess says oh, sorry I am just putting it in now- the restaurant was only about 30% full if that. It was flashing on the screen behind her and had been sitting there waiting to be accepted. I asked how long it would take and she said 15-20 minutes. I canceled it because I had already used up most of my lunch time and did not eat that day. 3.) I walked over last week giving it one more try as this has become a running joke between myself and my staff. I called it in directly this time, and it was ready when it was reported to be. I opened it up at my desk before my conference call and saw I was given extra bread for some reason ( with the sandwich??) and no dipping sauce for the fries. In addition my AUS JUS was nowhere to be found. It seems they did not pack it at the restaurant. My boss was eating at Doc Bs and went by to pick it up for me after standing at the hostess stand for quite sometime.
I think I am going to be giving up eating here although at one points it was something I looked forward too often. the quality and service has gone down since GM Rebecca went elsewhere. 3 wasted lunch breaks now., I should not have to come back 3 times to receive a sandwich I am paying 20...

The difficult problem of finding parking in the domain area is solved. Eat at Bazille. The atmosphere is relaxing, and calm. Conversation can be heard well here, no annoying echo or strain. Everything is perfect it is clean, comfortable, and the lighting is absolutely ideal. And I did not even get to the menu. The food is wonderful, but if I had to pick two favorite things, they will be the wonderful salads, as well as the amazing bread pudding for dessert. Scratch that. I might just make more trips here and only order the desert. I am not a shopaholic, at most I window shop, so I was not initially aware that this amazing restaurant existed within the elegant confines of Nordstrom's department store. I never feel any pressure to shop at Nordstrom's, just because Bazille is my destination of choice for eating in the domain. You might feel like me, like you have found a hidden gem, a wonderful place to eat out. I've also heard that the Bazille in San Francisco is just as amazing as ours...
