Denny's — Restaurant in Austin

This location leaves little to be desired. If the in your face quality of my food is telling of the location and it's staffs level of care for their patrons, I can't even imagine the aggregious acts that take place behind the counter when no one's watching. If you really hate your job that much...leave and find somewhere else to work. There are plenty of people eager to find work that actually care of themselves and the way their work defines them as an individual. Take a little pride in what you do or leave and find a different place of employment, but don't make hard working customers suffer people you simply don't care.

UPDATE 1.19.24: I ended up ordering this same dish the next night for the sake of seeing if there was some consistency with who was making the food and there absolutely was! The night crew are the ones doing a disservice to Denny's customers. They consistently made this particular dish the exact same way as before, which was utterly disappointing.

Fast foward to today and the this same dish was AMAZING!, So the morning/lunch crew are the ones getting it done and doing a fantastic job. MANAGEMENT...please talk to your night employees and make sure they are serving your customers appropriately.

UPDATE 1.25.24 (New Photo Added): I'm fairly sure this location has a bad seed that's retaliating at this point. Basically no cream at all this time around, which is truly commical. My suggestion...avoid this location until whoever made my food is fired or...

Came in for a late dinner, and it seemed like everything was going to go well but I was absolutely wrong on that. First off waitress couldn't even get drinks right she came and took our drink order then was too busy fooling around to actually get it correct. Brought the drinks 15mins later and scratch that was the first thing wrong. Next we got the appetizer that was great can't complain about that, but that was the last time we saw her after ordering and getting the appetizer. Next off getting the food... yeah... first off I ordered chicken friend steak that was good and juicy, but I ordered Mac and cheese and fries as a side recieving potatoes and broccoli... wrong again.. thankfully when the one waiter that delivered the food (which wasnt even our waiter the waitress vanished from helping us) that was there he had me connected with the night manager. I think the best customer service was from the manager getting things quickly fixed and accurate so I absolutely am blessed that she was there. The customer service from the waitress was just so poor that this isnt the job for her. Again I appreciate the night manager and she deserves all the good vibes and kudos for saving the night if anything id come back to this location specifically for her being on duty and actually providing correct...

Do not go to this restaurant!!! When we first got there we were seated pretty quickly. We ordered drinks while looking at the menu. They don't have sparkling water, and clearly don't even know what it is. It's okay the waiter seemed fairly inexperienced so that's okay. Probably why we didn't get what we ordered either. Two of us wanted spicy chips and one of us regular. It was the opposite, we got a few plates so we could share. To this date I haven't seen the onion rings at all, even though they were requested. We discussed this among ourselves and were not very happy. This was topped off with the manager coming and loudly accusing us of throwing things on the floor. We were three grown men, we don't walk around throwing food on the floor! When we protested and asked him to check the surveillance camera to verify our side of the story he got angry. He was the manager here, we were now in his house and if he says we threw food on the floor then we have done it. He continued to stand at a distance and watch us finish eating, while informing us of his rights as a manager, which clearly meant he could treat customers however he wants. We paid (including for the onion rings we never got) and left as quickly as we could, all three of us...
