Elotes Fanny — Restaurant in Austin

Was excited to taste the famous elotes preparados but was disappointed. To start, the only worker seemed to be a teenage girl. It was obvious that she was overwhelmed by the amount of orders she had to take/make by herself. For that reason, I feel I might have not gotten the best experience (not her fault at all, she was the sweetest). The elote cup consisted of 95% tasteless elote and a small blob of mayo with a pinch of queso. They offer a sauce/side bar for one to garnish their own cup to their liking. Went to Elotes Fanny for a late night snack. Upon arrival there was a plenty of parking. The menu is displayed on the outside of the food truck 🛻 where they offer juices, popsicles/paletas, corn 🌽 and fruits 🍉 🍎 🍌. On the outside of the truck they have a small section with plenty of sauces and condiments that you can put on your orders. We ordered the summer pineapple which was ok. Then we ordered the angelito, which was shaved ice with lemonade flavor. This drink was absolutely too sweet. To the point we had to go home and water it down, ended up being lemonade. Went to buy an elote because i was really craving it ..i think that's its a little expensive but they looked good so i was willing to pay.

When i got my elote in a cup i started eating and it was soo cold. Not even slightly warm. I was not upset but i told the guy nicely to please remake it. He kept my cup for about a good 5-7 min and then called me to only tell me that the owner refused to replace it and he only threw it in the microwave.

You can even see that they burned my cup and of course it was no longer the way it should be. Started to eat it but couldn't rven enjoy it. Very upsetting!!

Customer service was very poor and i will NOT return. I will spend my money at another place that Cares about...
