My daughter and I just left from here and the customer service was nonexistent, we asked for fresh fry’s ( cause we noticed fries & pies sitting in the warmer) they just dipped them in the grease . My tenders had to be done the same way because it was dark brown and burnt in spots. The drive thru worker was very rude and unprofessional , the manager wasn’t as rude out loud but body language definitely showed how he felt about our request. It was only two cars in line when we pull to the drive thru that’s how I knew they cooked to much food and didn’t want to waste it , so they served us old food . As a ex fast food employee I know everything is supposed to be time stamped when taking out the grease . I’m here mostly because of the customer service , I also called the “corporate office” and was met with da same hostility!!!!! I ordered my meal pulled up to the window still the only car in line payed for my food and began to wait for my food a few minutes go by then another vehicle pulled up still waiting on my meal figured at the moment my meal was almost ready.. but then I waited a few more minutes for my meal to com out I hate to complain but when they came to the window they handed me the bag I then asked for my soda that they never handed me she said what kinda soda did I have I told her a coke. She then said she gave me the wrong order..😞 after all that waiting when I was the only vehicle there at that time it was the wrong order I know I was the only vehicle there no one else was there they waited till another vehicle to order to start making our orders.. Read moreI hadn’t been to Short Stop in a very long time. A Co-worker was going for lunch so I asked if he could bring me something.
It smelled like I remembered. When I bit into it, it was definitely the grilled taste of a Short Stop burger. The fries were still hot but after I sat the half down I was eating from, I noticed that the meat wasn’t done. I called to let them know that my burger was not fully cooked. The gentleman stated that he could give me a refund but I would have to bring the burger back. I didn’t have anything else to eat for lunch so I ate the fries but I have decided that when I get off work, I am certainly going to return the half eaten burger so that I can have my money refunded to my card.
It wasn’t what I expected but to save face, I believe I’ll just go back to bringing my lunch to work. ☹
