Our stay here was fantastic. No other way to describe this place than with 5 Stars.

17 of my college friends I traveled from the East Coast to get together for 4th of July Weekend in Austin. We wanted to do some drinking and enjoy the nightlife, and do some tourist things like crush a bunch of tacos & BBQ, go on a river float, hit up Barton Springs, etc. This place literally made that happen for us in the biggest way possible- by giving us comfort, close to the action. MY FIVE MAIN POINTS:

Entertaining: The Inn had great amenities that were all clean and open for use- pool, billiards, rooftop deck for photos, chillin, grillin, etc. Also- the happy hour was lit AF. They had speakers outside playing music at the pool for all guests each day. Convenient Location: The Inn was quite literally in the perfect spot for us 20-somethings to get a ride share service or those electric scooters to whatever bar, restaurant, gym, or shopping we wanted. A quick walk just a few blocks beyond the underpass took us right to all the action on 6th Street... some sketchy folks chilling under the highway but no problems, even late night/early morning. Safety: The Inn felt really secure with new keypads and cameras and they had a security guard posted up just inside the main entrance at night. The surrounding area was pretty quiet. Comfortable, Clean, and Spacious: The unit (condo?) we got was dank! It had full kitchen & dining room, plenty of comfy beds for everyone, several clean & roomy bathrooms, and a sweet living room that had a smart TV and built-in surround speakers you controlled with the mounted iPad. -------Saved the Best for Last: Accommodating, Knowledgeable, and Friendly Staff: The concierge staff knew where all the cool spots were, like Rainey Street (Just go there, it's awesome), and unreal food spots. The employees seemed happy to work there like it wasn't work, even though it undoubtably must have been hard work to keep that place running so smoothly. Even if we needed them to mail something or hold on to something for us- they helped us out. The cleaning staff was always going around keeping the Inn looking fresh, and there was generally just a very friendly, do-what-you-want-within-reason, vibe to the whole experience.

It would've been such a different/lacking trip if we were all split up in some cookie cutter chain hotel. Big thanks to the staff, your service was the literal definition of excellent. The Inn itself was so cool, and you deservingly earned yourselves 17 repeat customers.

PS- This didn't fit anywhere above but worth mentioning... The WiFi strength and speed was great, even with everyone...

If I could I wouldn’t leave a single star for this place. Came to Austin from Philly for our friends 30th birthday and were excited to have a cool place to stay. This was a disappointment from all aspects.

The Airbnb photos are very deceiving for the rooms you’re actually getting. It’s a hotel and some of the rooms don’t have private outdoor spaces and some do. It’s hard to determine what rooms provide what amenities based on their website and if you don’t work hard to figure it out, you’ll be very disappointed.

They say that they may have an event for one night of your stay.... don’t trust that, there were events held that closed off the entire rooftop and pool area for the duration of our 3 night stay. This may have been okay if we had been provided prior notification but they didn’t let us know until we showed up for our stay. We, again, were there to celebrate a birthday and were forced to the confines of the room to celebrate and not enjoy the amenities we very much paid for considering the steep rates. The plethora of outside events also means throughout the weekend there were hundreds of strangers walking by our room and the door to the hotel was propped open for hours while setup and the events were in progress. This created a rather unsafe and potentially risky environment meaning we had to be extremely cautious of our belongs for the entire stay.

Most importantly of all, when we let them know that we were unhappy with the lack of communication on our access to the amenities and with the number of events occurring they were anything but accommodating. They directed us to the fact that their was the possibility of a single event on their website, access to a rooftop blocks away from our room to use, and they said it was our fault that we were unhappy. They didn’t provide what was promised and refused to compromise. I’d suggest if you’re planning on booking make sure to ensure you’re going to get everything you’re expecting. But they’re definitely only interested in getting your money and once they do that.... it doesn’t matter what they said they’d provide, they won’t do it.

If you still want to book - book with extreme caution and make sure to ask as many questions as possible before you show up because they won’t disclose...

Wow—Inn Cahoots blew us away! If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Austin, this is it. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, surrounded by Austin’s best bars, restaurants, and nightlife. Everything was just steps away, making it incredibly easy to explore, grab amazing food, and dive into the local scene without ever needing a car. It truly felt like having our own private oasis in the middle of the action!

Now, let’s talk about the setup—because it was next-level. The Airbnb was designed for groups, and our party of 12 had more than enough space to spread out comfortably. The two-story layout was both stylish and functional, with plenty of beds, modern touches, and an open, social atmosphere that made it perfect for our stay. It felt like a boutique hotel, but even better—private, spacious, and thoughtfully designed.

But the real showstopper? The rooftop bar and event space. Just jaw-dropping. The panoramic city views were absolutely breathtaking, and it was the perfect spot to sip drinks, take in the skyline, and enjoy the ultimate Austin vibe. It felt like we had our own exclusive rooftop lounge—something you’d expect from a high-end venue!

And let’s not forget the pool—literally steps from our front door. Whether we were cooling off during the day or just relaxing by the water, it was the perfect addition to an already incredible stay. The music setup with the speaker and iPad was another huge bonus—effortless to use, and it let us set the mood with our own playlist for the weekend.

From start to finish, Inn Cahoots exceeded every expectation. It’s the ultimate spot for a group getaway—luxurious, lively, and in the absolute best location in Austin. If you're coming to the city with a crew, do yourself a favor and book this place. We’ll 100% be back! 10/10,...

We had a great time staying @ the Inn Cahoots for a bachelor party. Rented the two apartments located on the third floor and that was more than enough for the 19 people. It never felt like we were too big of a group for the space which was shocking. Great communal space in both apartments (kitchen/dining/living room space). Everyone had a bed and the 3 bathrooms on each side were key. The Inn is centrally located between the old and new spots in Austin (6th st, Rainey etc. are walkable for the city walkers). Restaurants, bars, food carts within walking distance for all. Champagne fountain (a tap with champagne in it) was delicious. Not sure how long that will last but we enjoyed it! A dipping pool (was cold during our trip but will be great for guests in the summer to cool off). The rooftop has some great views of downtown and is a great space for everyone to hang out. It was lacking in full length mirrors... but I was told that they were getting some. ; ) From what I can tell it truly is the best landing pad for groups in Austin. Congrats to the owners for all the hard work!
