Honestly, I wanted to like the pizza here. It's location is very close to where I live. Unfortunately, we were shorted 3 ranches that we ordered, the cheese bread was smaller than I anticipated, and the pizza was just ok while it was hot. I've been living in Austin for a few years now. I was a big time pizza fan before I moved here. The pizza here in Austin is AWESOME. You really have to bring your A game if you want to compete and sadly, Marco's fell short. We ordered 2 thick pepperoni and mushroom pizzas and cheese bread. The pizzas tasted like they had been made with store bought items (think, canned mushrooms and bland pepperoni) and when the heat started to wear off, the food really became almost inedible as the cheese thickened up. My jaw is still sore tonight from trying to eat it last night. We paid over $30 for our order...I could take that to Ropollo's, Home Slice, Flying J's, or Austin's pizza and get a much better product. Sorry for the harsh words, I really did want to like it. The Austin area is too saturated with pizza places to waste time and money on sub-par pies. Hopefully they can hang on and improve, but it will take a lot to get...
Read moreThis pizza just isn’t worth it! The ingredients are of the lowest quality and the pizza taste like a frozen pizza. The sauce is sweet like Prego. The basil on my pizza tasted like it was one day too old and just about to go bad. The crust is just okay… nothing to brag about. None of the components of the pizza are note worthy or do the other components any favors. Really, you’re better off getting frozen pizza. Or ordering from any other cheap fast-food pizza place like Caesar’s, Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc. Tbh I hope that I never see anyone order this pizza, because it’s just disappointing to taste Marco’s when you’re all excited about getting cheap/fatty indulgent pizza.
2 stars because delivery and Heath-code quality are passing, but just doesn’t taste as good as literally anything else. I’m the least picky person with a huge appetite, and I can only get 2 small slices of this thing down before my pallet gives up.
I’ll only ever order this pizza again if they give it to me for $1 and I’m broke and about to starve to death and have no other options. At least it might not...
Read moreWe've been getting pizza from this location for years. Even though we've moved out of their delivery area. Going to this location to pick up our pizza has taken the luster off of Marcos Pizza for us, but we liked their pizza, so we put up with their attitude. We'll, tonight was the final straw for us. My brother in law got a hair, yes a hair, baked into his pizza. In the crust! He was able to hold his pizza up by the hair! BY THE HAIR! Totally grossed us all out. Needless to say, we are done ordering from this location and probably Marcos in general. Not to mention that they don't give a contract email for corporate, you have to call the store. The store doesn't care, so essentially the complaint stops and corporate never hears about it. Not...
