Market Street Pizza - We are curbside or delivery only. — Restaurant in Austin

I had a chance to meet the owner Dave who delivered my pizzas to my car while waiting in their store front for pick up. I learned in just 5 mins this is a family owned restaurant ran by him his son and daughter-in-law. Integrity is a big thing for me Dave shared his recipe is his own and has been 40 years. I had been looking for a good pizza spot for a while tried everywhere that wasn’t commercial or that didn't over grease, have breading to that was to dry or to soft. I found this place and I’m their biggest fan. This is the best pizza I have had in AUSTIN TEXAS and It literally changed my family’s life. Let’s talk about the size compared to this other commercial pizza spots. I changed my family pizza nights on Monday’s because they are closed to Tuesday’s and Saturday’s. My family love Market street xl pizzas 2 for $20+tax you can’t beat that bigger pizza better quality for just that amount amazing value. The pizzas are so big and the crust is OMG amazing! When I’m not on KETO I sneak a slice. Salads!.... “Are perfect for keto customers my favorite is the Greek salad”. They hand pick lettuce to insure there are no brown spots on them. Great food; maybe avoid getting it delivered.

The pizza tasted great and used decent quality toppings- would recommend. There’s a great variety as well on more than just pizza. I got an order of their garlic cheese bread and I really enjoyed it with the fam.

The delivery interaction was less than ideal. When you checkout from their site you can get an ordered delivered and select a check box if you want it dropped off on your doorstep-which is what I selected since I was covered in left over baby vomit stains and hadn’t had a chance to change, not to mention I just didn’t want to talk to anyone—I ordered pizza to take a break from domestic duties on a Saturday. First he calls me and says he’s here to come get the order from him. I’m thinking something is wrong so I scramble to the door. He is like 30ft from my door while I awkwardly wait in all my glory for him to hand me the order. He hands it to me reluctantly, and asks me if I tipped him. I said yes, when I checked out it populates on the digital receipt as a “tip” line item—now I’m thinking “do I have to go inside, grab my phone, show him my screen..” While I was about to go back inside to grab my phone, he says “here it is, thank you” as he looks at his phone. We arrived on Wednesday, January 1st and realized the restaurant was take out or delivery only, so we got online and ordered our pizzas. I appreciate the speed at with the lady came out to check on us when we arrived, thinking we had an order name to provide.

I ordered an 8” Meat Lovers pizza and he ordered a 14” Basil Pesto pizza. We decided to go to the store while we waited and to our surprise the orders took less than 30 minutes to be ready.

The personal sized Meat Lovers was really nice, as the ingredients almost to the edge of the crust, and I like that a lot. There was a good helping of ingredients on the pizza as well, but the only thing I wish were different was that I ordered a larger one 😅

My friend let me have a taste of his Basil Pesto pizza, and that one was really good. The tomatoes were juicy and the pesto complimented the pepperonis he added to the it as well. Yeah, I definitely should have ordered the larger pizza. More of the Meat Lovers would have been nice!
