HAHAHAHA!!! Red Robin on brink of bankruptcy! Good! Get this deceiving business out of here. They sent ME a card saying free burger on my birthday. I went and NOPE, they won't honor it. Really?? Why did you send it? No wonder you're suffering financially! You can't treat customers like this.
BUH-BYE , so long. Other great burger places like Saltgrass Steakhouse. Yes, Saltgrass has amazing burgers, top of the line gourmet burgers with sides for $15. Yummmm!!!
Still not honoring the birthday burger! They say yes but then dont. Most folks stay anyway. Big mistake. The burgers are dry, the service is poor. They no longer "wait" on you. They aren't called waitresses anymore, but they should be called "interrupters". They dont keep track of you and what you might need. Instead they simply come to table and INTERRUPT.
OK fine. Plenty of other burgers places like Culver's on Braker Lane, or Shake Shack, or Hatcreek Burgers.
Yeuch! Why pay for overpriced soggy oily burgers? The service is slow too! I was reminded of this today. I received coupons in the mail. Last time I tried to use them, they REJECTED them! They said "we don't participate in that offer". How about telling that to folks BEFORE they order these expensive crappy burgers??
Overpriced common burgers, not special at all! Why did I even try to go here? Moonburger on Gracy Farms Rd is so much better! Mighty Fine at Braker Lane and Mopac is also great. So many other burger places that are better. But the service here at Red Robin is actually worse than their dry, tasteless burgers. I should have known to forget about ever coming here. I'm reminding all my friends how terrible this place is.
Terrible service. I received a postcard saying I get a free burger on my birthday. I went there with 5 friends and they said NO, no free burger. So we went elsewhere and I swore I wouldn't go back. That was 6 years ago and I've not been back. Neither have ANY of my friends! Because we all go out to eat several times per weeks, this place has lost thousands of dollars worth of business! And I'm glad because their burgers are overpriced and not good anyway. Try Culver's at Braker/Kramer lane intersection. CULVERS burgers are tremendous, and half the price of RRobin. ...or try P-Terry's burgers at Mopac, just north of the Domain. Also outstanding burgers, and service!!
I'll never be back to RRobin. Nope! Thanks for rejecting the postcard that YOU sent me saying I'd get a free burger! Now say...

That said, my friends do love their full sized burgers, their steak fries are seasoned well, and the side salad option is satisfying. Because the petite burger was gone, I ordered the crispy chicken salad. It was terrific: chicken was very crunchy, cut in good sized pieces. The salad had bacon, egg, and cheese included. My one complaint is that the egg is diced like carrot shreds, which made it hard to get on the fork. If the salad was so good, why am I still never returning? This is a burger restaurant. I can find chicken salads all over the city.
UPDATE: Today I arrived during our loosened COVID business laws. I was very pleased to see dividers between booths, menus being clearly separated by sanitized and dirty (and an employee working on sanitizing the dirty ones) and the great way they have accommodated patrons so they can sit at the bar safely. There is also hand sanitizer available as you walk to your table. The hosts will accommodate requests to sit further away from other patrons if asked, and it's possible. All employees wear masks while in the restaurant area and interactions with customers. They truly have their customers' safety in mind. I felt safe dining in the restaurant. This time I sat in the bar in a booth. My server was very attentive, despite having bar duties. I had a friend en route, so he timed the appetizer to arrive when she did. My friend was new to Red Robin, so he answered A LOT of questions and helped her pick the perfect burger. Our burgers were prepared great, and our sides (salad and fries) were fresh and tasty. It was an awesome...
Read moreTonight my family of 4 plus a baby (2 adults and 3 children total) arrived at 7:30pm. our drinks and appetizer came very promptly. but then it was literally a 30 minute (after we got our appetizer) wait for our meals. the burger was mediocre and when we asked for our first refill on our "bottom less" side of broccoli and french fries, it never came. after 45 min we finally gave up waiting for our first refill of the so called bottom less side and left. Our server was doing her best with what she had. she refilled our drinks promptly, but she never did inform us of why our food was taking so long, or that there would be long wait. there were other tables who apprently weren't as patient as we were and were complaining loudly. Another server was actually in tears due to her angry customers. Now i dont usually complain, but we paid $60 for 3 burgers that each came with a "bottom less side", 1 childrens chicken tender meal 2 tea, 1 dr pepper and a water. i did get one refill on my small side of salad, but i had to wait 20 min just for that. with tip is was total of $70. and yes, i still gave a 15% tip to our server, it was not her fault the kitchen was so slow. we could even see our server arguing and yelling at the kitchen staff because she was getting the brunt of the angry customers for their slow service. also, in the almost 2 hours we were there, i saw 4 orders from other tables sent back to the kitchen because they were incorrect. i am very disapointed in choosing to go to Red Robin and i will not be making that mistake again. i just feel taken advantage of. if my kids werent so exausted from waitimg so long, i would have spokem to the manager at the restaurant, but we were all just so done with it and...
