Update: sandwiches went from $4.99 to $11.99 a month later and what happened?

August 2023 review: Had a random craving for a classic egg salad sandwich. Checked out DoorDash and saw how incredibly affordable the sandwiches were at Murphy’s. So we ordered several sandwiches to try!

Let me tell you, these were fantastic. Absolutely classic American egg salad sammy. Not sure the type of bread used (some type of whole grain or white bread with grains), but however they prepared it, whether it was grilled or toasted, it was phenomenal.

Also ordered the tuna salad sandwich. The tuna salad itself was good, just hoping they can put it on the same type of bread as the egg salad next time. Definitely...

They get the two stars for a super friendly staff. The rest was disappointing.

I went in around 11:30 am on a Monday. I originally ordered a Rueben but was told they were out of the corned beef. So I changed my order to a gyro which the counter worker said was one of their most popular sandwiches. She then told me they were out of tomatoes.

I'm not expecting amazing authenticity from an office building deli, but the meat they served on the gyro was microwaved and overdone to the point that it was hard and crispy like a cracker.

Between the out of stock items and poor quality I won't be back. I would have asked for a refund had I not taken my food to go and discovered the...
