We had a great day touring and tasting. I would definitely recommend spending a day In Fredericksburg and using Tipsy Tours as your transportation. Some feedback on the wineries we visited…. Augusta Vin: gorgeous building, knowledgeable staff and great wine. It is definitely less crowded during the week. We were one of three groups but there wasn’t any live music or other activities going on, It was pretty quiet. If you are looking for more of a crowd and music, more is going on during the weekend. Barons Creek: Gorgeous grounds, great photo ops. They have corn hole board out back. The building itself not super impressive and the wine was just ok. The time in between tastings was a bit slow. We took our last one outside to have time. I would definitely recommend requesting a table outside. Slate Theory: we were most excited about this one and it was the most disappointing. They acted surprised when we arrived, there was only four of us. Of course we were booked through tipsy tours and had not only a tasting but a private tour of the cellar scheduled which we paid extra for. We waited 20-25 minutes to start the “tour”. They took us down to the cellar and sat us at the table where we had our tasting. That was the extent of the “tour” we waited probably 15-20 minutes between each tasting! Arlen our driver with tipsy had to keep coming down and checking on us it was taking that long. We were late leaving putting us behind heading back to Austin. And to be honest the employee providing our tastings could not have been less interested in our group. I feel like we were not expected and treated as such for the remainder of the time. Based on our experience I would choose a different winery to spend your money and time. The cellar is really neat if you do decide to choose this as one of your stops, I would suggest asking to take a quick walk-through but enjoy your wine outside on the grounds especially on a nice sunny day. They do have a great setup with covered patio and nice bar. Hope this review is helpful! Cheers!

I hired this tour for me and my friend. We were celebrating our "friendversary" and hadn't seen each other since the pandemic. I loved that they gave me the option of having our own private car and driver, pick up and drop off at our choice location, choosing our own wineries and arranging all the reservations and times with the wineries. I've been to Napa multiple times and this far exceeded my expectations. And to add to a great two days, our driver Patrick far exceeded our expectations. He was incredibly thoughtful. He texted me the day before confirming all the details and even asked if there was a certain song he could play when he was picking us up. He was always early and took such great care of us. We had an amazingly comfortable Lincoln Navigator SUV. Patrick made sure to introduce us to each hostess of the winery and communicate the schedule ahead of time for pick up. He made sure to keep the car cool in this horrific heatwave we're experiencing and prepared it a few minutes before we were due to get in the car again, so we didn’t come back to a hot car. He drove us safely and was THE BEST host for my friend and me.

We had such a great experience for a Bachelorette Party ! The driver Bob picked us up in Austin from our Airbnb, drove us to our location. The speakers worked great in our vehicle and allowed us to let loose and enjoy the drive. Bob let us listen to whatever we wanted, accommodated us, made sure we got in and out of the vehicle safely, counted us every time we got in and out and made sure no one was left behind 😅. We were a big group of girls so we were a lot of personalities with a lot of loudness and Bob had no problem with any of it. Bob also already had relationships with each of the distilleries or wineries that we went to so when we got to each location he made sure to get us taken care of right away. When booking our event the owner was so sweet and personable, you can tell she really cares about every detail of her business . I would recommend the Texas tipsy tours all day, any day and will be using them again!

I booked a private wine tour with Texas tipsy tours for my sister’s birthday in April and the whole experience was amazing. I wanted to spend my sister’s birthday doing a wine tour, so that meant going on a Tuesday which was the day her birthday happened to land on. I was afraid that we would not be able to find anything open and new vineyards for us to check out. But, Nicole (coordinator) walked me through a wide array of options, provided recommendations based on what I was looking for and the type of wine I liked. She crafted an amazing full-day itinerary.

The tour consisted of three vineyards and we were picked up at the Airbnb we were staying at. Patrick, our driver, was very attentive and just fun to talk to. He made sure we got to all our tastings, walked us and sat us at each vineyard, checked in on us while there, but gave us privacy, and came to get us once it was time to head to the next place. It was amazing to not have to worry about any logistics and just enjoy the day.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to do a wine tour in the Hill country....
