I heard so Many good things. BUT, Apparently the menu I ordered from online with Uber eats all of the "spreads" are together. So I paid over 4$ for a soggy bagel with jam. NOT PEACH JAM CREAM CHEESE. Or butter extra .50 and jam. I also order another bagel with VEGGIE (cream cheese not labeled) BUT I DIDN'T GET A BUNCH OF VEGGIES. I called to clarify my misunderstanding of the menu discuss the app and how it was misleading BUT the manager could not be bothered. Left. As they were closing. I was made fun of repeatedly because I assumed all the "spreads" were choices of cream cheese. I really just wanted to make it right and clarify that's what happened. Again...1.89 for Jam? No butter that is .50 Extra. There are only 3 raisins in my bagel too! And again. The cream cheese above the jam in that list is not defined as cream cheese. Belittling me. And not wanting to make it right is NOT "GOOD BUSINESS ". Glad the Rockstars at this establishment got a good laugh. It's Overpriced and you will Love the Abuse too!

Cute, quirky place. Friendly staff. I’m from NJ, so I am a tough bagel critic. These are not authentic but very close. Perfectly chewy on the inside but missing that outside crunch. A perfect bagel should blister when toasted, these did not. Reminded me of a packaged bagel. I got a jalapeño cheddar bagel w/ E&C. They did not have American cheese which is traditional. The cheeses they had (cheddar, jack, and prov) get oily and lose flavor when melted, so there’s that. Egg was rubbery and flavorless. Probably should of picked a spread or a specialty sandwich since the bagel itself wasn’t the rockstar. Order took a long time to come out with only 3 other customers there. Mediocre experience all around. Again, staff was lovely.

I stopped in this past Monday morning. Ordered a veggie sandwich. The cashier was less than pleasant. The sandwich was absolutely overpriced for what I received. I’ve had this sandwich in the past and it was significantly different in quantity of veggies. The listing of ingredients is basic: avocado, cucumber, red onion, spinach, tomato. I’m guessing they were running low on these things after a busy weekend, because ingredients were severely lacking or missing. If shortage of ingredients was the case then why not say, “we don’t have the ingredients for that sandwich right now?” Also, my everything bagel was a ball. Not a bagel. Not sure that I’ll be going out of my way to revisit this place anytime soon.

After looking for best bagel shops in the Austin I came to realize there’s only like 5 options in this city, anyways I decide to try rockstar based off good reviews. I ordered a sausage egg cheese everything bagel. I wait 30 minutes bc they have a lot of online orders and busy line, fine. I get my bagel it’s hot and ready to go, awesome freshly made. I take my first bite and I’m overwhelmed with the lack of flavor, all I taste is sausage grease, it seems like I just drank a swig of chorizo fat juices, the egg is a little over cooked that’s ok. The bagel is toasty and crunchy but lacks flavor. I start to think, do I have Covid because I’m not tasting much flavors. I look to my right and my girl has a iced latte from another coffee shop(they don’t have iced lattes at rockstar) I take a sip to test my taste, thankfully I can taste the oat milk and espresso in Covid negative. I come to the realization that the bagel is just flavorless except for the overwhelming grease flavor like they scrapped it off the skillet and poured it all over the bagel.

(I’m assuming they’re just cooking it all on the same greasy grill top and that’s why)

Anyways, greasy flavor, long wait, not impressed. It will make your stomach upset after from...

First time trying Rockstar Bagels. There was no line. The woman that took my order was nice. I asked her what her favorite bagels were and ordered both of her suggestions with cream cheese. I waited for about 10 minutes or so outside the pick up window for my order. I ordered the rosemary salt bagel with peach basil cream cheese and it was delicious. I also ordered the Jalepeno bagel with plain cream cheese. When I got home, I pulled out a card from the bag that said “sorry we had to swap your bagel. We were unable to contact you for your next choice so we chose the next best option based on your selection.” I guess the next best option in their opinion was a plain bagel. I was standing directly outside the pick up window the entire time. How could they not contact me? It’s not really about the flavor of the bagel. It’s more so about the customer service. They could have just opened the window and told me they were out of everything but plain, asked what I’d like instead and it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Feels a little lazy...
