The ambiance is superb and the food amazing. I highly recommend The DIG PUB. Special thanks to Bernard for providing a jovial experience. He made us feel welcomed as if in our own home. My group of friends were excited about trying all the delicious food options. My choice was the melted Avocado Fiesta Burger - Oaxaca cheese, dollop of guacamole, red onions, and cilantro-lime mayo; and, each bite tasted as delightful as the first. Wow what a hidden gem. I thought this place is small, skeptical about what it offers but it exceeded expectations. I ordered fish, shrimp (not shrimp tempura) tacos with extra coleslaw, the moment it got served I took a bite n instantly taken to the beauuutiful beach of la jolla San Diego, this is what Austin has been missing! I also got a pork belly taco to go which looks promising too. The seating area from outside seems to be small, but they let me sit in the bar area which is very nice. All I can say is, the food is waaaaay better than it was when we were making it!! The entire menu is fantastic. During my shifts I try and get something from the kitchen so I can not just know the menu, but KNOW the menu. Not gonna lie, so far the flatbreads and hot dogs are my favorites. I am so happy that someone has taken over our kitchen that I can tell all of my in house customers is doing a better job than we ever did!!!
