I was excited to find a new Indian spot near us. Upon eating our food, here’s our impression: 1) The portions seemed pretty small for the price compared to what we usually get at other Indian restaurants. I paid extra for my chicken korma entree to be 32 oz, thinking I’d have enough to take for lunch tomorrow, and not only did I finish it all tonight but my meal was 50% broth and 30% chicken bones. For $60, we only got a sandwich, 2 entrees (the other was only 16 oz), and naan. 2) It’s called Spicy Town but my husband’s goat curry had no spice to it??? 3) Can’t really comment on the ambience because we picked our food up from a locker. Call me old fashioned, but I like to actually meet the people from whom I’m getting my food. 🥲 Unfortunately we probably won’t be coming back. Too bad because it’s conveniently located and had a lot of promise!

This place just opened, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Gongura Chicken and Mutton Biryani, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The Gongura flavor was too much and dominated the entire dish, giving it a strong tangy flavor that masked the usual biryani taste. I was also surprised to find chana dal in it — typically something you’d find in tadka, not biryani. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps improve the dish, as I genuinely want to support and encourage new places. If anyone has recommendations for dishes they enjoyed here, please let me know — I’d love to try them. Thank you!

This is a virtual restaurant through a ghost kitchen so expect delay in service time. We waited 80 minutes for our order. Most of the food should probably be eaten fresh because it'll get soggy by the time it arrives to you. The food is definitely fresh, but the flavors are okay. The packaging is not sustainable and not spill-proof. We ordered the daal makhni, masala dosa, regular samosa, chicken frankie.
