Great food, good customer service and ordering experiences. Not sure why the reviews are so shoddy. I've ordered twice from them in the last two weeks via delivery services and each time my order has been delicious, correct, and good portion sizes (I.e., the bowl was full). Both times, I ordered 2-3 things off the menu and ALL of it was correct and on point. And both times, I received my order in about 30 minutes from the time I placed it on the app.
Also, I really appreciate all of the healthy vegan options. The food is good, my rice was cooked perfectly, and in terms of seasoning, I think they really shine with their sauces, and there are plenty to choose from. (If you’re someone who likes a lot of sauce, they also give you the option to order extra sauce, so something else not necessary to complain about). They literally have the BEST vegan ranch dressing I have ever tasted! If their food had a lot of seasoning, and then on top of that you’re using the sauces, to me that’s too much and that’s why every other person in this country has high blood pressure and diabetes.
As for the cost, a bowl costs about $15, which is pretty standard for this type of food. I don’t know what people are talking about it costing $50 for two people or $20 per person, unless you get a bunch of extra toppings, then, duh, of course, it’s going to cost you more. But they have quite a few options that come with lots of stuff in them so you don’t NEED to do that. And it’s not like they sneakily charge you on the backend, it’s very transparent when you order that the additional toppings will cost extra.

Read moreOrdered 2 bbq chicken bowls through uber eats. When they arrived, both bowls were completely missing the chicken. It's hard to contact them. It sent me to uber eats customer service. Was on hold for 10 minutes before being connected. As soon as the phone was answered, I was hung up on. Called again and was on hold for another 10 minutes. Finally someone answered but they were very unprofessional and not helpful. When she answered, she didn't even say hello or introduce herself, she was just humming and mumbled something on the phone. It wasn't until I said, "hello", that she sounded surprised. I had to explain a simple issue with my order more than 3 times before she put me on hold again for another 10 minutes. Then wanted me to take a picture of my order to send to them to only refund a small portion of my entire order. I ended up just driving to the location and was just given the 2 portions of chicken that were missing. I was also charged extra for chopsticks and napkins that I never got. The food was decent but customer service was awful. Unfortunately this whole experience will prevent me from ever ordering...
Read moreWhen we first discovered Moonbowls, we were obsessed with it, ordering almost every week. That was about a year ago. Recently, it's really gone downhill. They had a problem with their system and we were unable to order for a week. I reached out via IG and they had no idea! I don't know what happened during that system outage, but I have never been able to log into my account again. The system recognizes my phone number but not my email address, so I can't sign in. There are no options to reset the password.
My husband set up an account because we love Moon Bowls so much, but the last few orders have been really disappointing. We received the wrong items and everything was either undercooked or overcooked and the serving size was really small. And somehow really watery? Also, when you create an account, you receive regular texts for discount codes that do not work. It's really annoying (and disappointing).
