I am an Uber/Uber Eats driver; so I deal firsthand with many MANY of the restaurants, food, and fast food establishments throughout Austin and surrounding area. All in all, over the 4+ years I have been doing this job on the side, I have probably been to nearly all of the Taco Bell’s in the Austin area.
I have to be honest here, I’ve never seen a Taco Bell mess up orders so consistently. It’s almost a guarantee when you order here, that something will be incorrect or missing from your order. I don’t understand what’s so difficult about fulfilling an order correctly; if they did their JOB correctly and input the order items through the system, then it would literally show them on a screen what was ordered, right in front of their face. I guess that’s why they are working a menial Taco Bell job; they car do any job correctly and clearly Taco Bell corporate isn’t too worried about customer service and satisfaction.
Additionally, a silly situation is what led me to even leave this review; I’m not usually the type to leave a bad review. I’d rather leave a positive one, or none at all. Everyone makes mistakes and has bad days. But tonight, while doing Uber Eats deliveries, I received a delivery for this Taco Bell. So when I arrived, I parked and entered the restaurant, because that is what their business note instructs drivers to do; to go inside and pick up the order, UNLESS the lobby is LOCKED. The lobby was NOT locked, so I went in. Immediately, I was very rudely told “hey the inside is closed” so I replied by saying, “im not ordering food, I just have a pickup for Uber. Is there any way you could just give it to me? That way I also don’t have to wait in the long drive thru line.” The male employee replied, VERY rudely, “ EVERYONE is picking up a delivery go wait in line like everybody else”.
There was absolutely no need for this type of attitude. I was simply following the instructions given by YOUR business, and even though, yes, the lobby is closed, YOU left it unlocked. Sure, I can go through the line. But good customer service would have been to simply hand me the already made order, and send me on my way. I have a job to do also, and your rude attitude and snarky tone doesn’t make my night any better.

Read moreThis place was horrible and the Store management was so disrespectful. I was given the wrong order and when brought to management attention, she refused to give us our correct order. I was not given my receipt to show proof of order purchase, however I had a bag full of food that was not my order. Store management argued with me and other customers. Only thing she offered to do was to remake a order that didn’t belong to me and I was told if I wanted my order I would have to repurchase it. She was very unprofessional and a complete embarrassment to TacoBell due to the fact she is the face of the company. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever eat here or at any TacoBells for that matter. I had to go to another location to get upper management info and was given one of there lower level employees phone numbers by the other store. They don’t take customers complaints seriously unless you call customer complaints. And even then they take forever to get in touch with you. At the end of the day we never got the correct order, just someone else’s order remade.. Literally! At the end of the day we are talking about a Nacho supreme... We came and left with a chalupa taco, bean burrito, and a hard taco.... Thing is this was not what my child...
Read moreWill you make this very clear there are few fast food restaurants these days are actually are giving you a real atmosphere saying hey come here and eat your food, to the contrary it's almost like the unseen saying is eat your food and eat somewhere besides here. Not at this location as the staff and the atmosphere as well as the good choice of 80s and 90s music actually give me the inviting feeling to come in and eat if for some reason this is the only talk about I've ever gone to that I like to sit and eat and enjoy the meal inside and please note that this is a huge accomplishment being that this area is not uptown or Westlake it's pretty rough. So to me this is the best Taco Bell in all of Austin and they make me feel like you can come in and say as long as you want and I'm someone that always gets going because I work so much but today I don't have my car because it works ever has my God damn keys and won't give him back and I have a huge construction job tonight and it was nice to have a little calm before the storm here at this restaurant... Sometimes we need that in our lives. I want to see all these employees at this restaurant location become head Incorporated managers soon! So...
