Veracruz All Natural — Restaurant in Austin

This taco place is inside the government building. Which was confusing at first because I didn’t see any signage outside for it. But the security guards at the front were nice and assured us it was “the safest tacos in town”

The food was absolutely amazing. Best chorizo taco I’ve never had!

But the service was lacking. My second taco was wrong and when I took it back to the cashier she told me it wasn’t. She told me I had ordered avocado and that I got exactly what I ordered. I never order avocado. But she argued with me and wouldn’t do anything about it. So I wouldn’t go back because of that.

If you get the right taco it’s amazing. But you have to actually get the right taco to find out…

Also I’ve been a server before. So I was super nice about the mistake and am always nice to wait staff because it sucks sometimes. So I know it wasn’t...

Didn’t have a great experience at this location. It took them an hour for them to make my food when I was on a strict timeline to report back for jury duty. When the lady at the front finally called me up, she told me they were out of chicken and can only do steak. Would have been nice to know that before I placed my order AN HOUR AGO. She seemed really new and not sure about what she was doing. She even confirmed my new order with me twice before they finally made my order, an hour after I placed my order. I grabbed the bag and ran upstairs just to find out they messed up my order (that she had confirmed with me TWICE, and not even five minutes prior to my discovery).

I get they were experiencing a lunch rush, but how can jurors and court staff rely on them if they take so long to make an order and still get...

I am so happy for this brand new Veracruz All Natural location! It’s super close to West Campus and the Texas Capitol. Super convenient for students at UT Austin and all the office workers nearby. It’s located inside the Travis County Civil and Family Facility, so you have to walk through security in order to get to them on the first floor, it’s so worth it! They have the entire award winning menu available, plus they added coffee, yes please! I can’t get over this new central downtown location. Amazing staff, they are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Very clean and open space with beautiful plants everywhere, but windows, nice views! Highly recommend this new taco spot downtown! They’re open Monday - Friday, 8am - 3pm!...
