Very upset to receive such terrible customer service today after going out of my way to support a local business . I tried to exchange a brand new unused baby gift for a larger size, I had the purchasers information to look up the receipt in the system but the price tag had been removed. My mom and I purchased all our baby gear from nini and loli even though the prices online were substantially lower on the big websites, because we thought we were supporting a brick and mortar store that we actually got to have fun visiting! And that we would get better customer service throughout the process if we had any concerns or needed help selecting the right things. I could have paid $300 less for my stroller at Bloomingdale’s. Or shop directly on kissy kissy website for all layette for 20% less. We knew this but decided it was more fun and better for the community to shop local . The manager in the store today was actually rude and told me while playing on her phone while I was speaking that “it wasn’t that she was not interested in what I was saying, but she has more important office work to do “, they would not even look up the receipt, just turned me out of their empty store by the way. I drove 25 mins from Miami Beach to do that exchange with them and had brought grandpa with us to do some more shopping. Obviously will never shop with them ever again. Not a single customer in the store but between 2 shop workers, they did not have the “time” to be polite or kind or even pretend to try to help me find a solution. Read moreSo i am currently 6 months pregnant and was looking for my stroller, i looked online and this store was the closest and it seemed like they had a great selection of strollers. Went in with my husband and there were 2 ladies… no greeting, one of them on their phone, the other one putting clothes back and the store was fairly empty. We spent a good 5 mins looking at the strollers they had and not once did they think it would be helpful to ask if we were looking for something in specific… nothing!!! Went to Nordstrom and this lady immediately acknowledged us and we ended up buying our bugaboo fox 5!! Sooo in my personal experience dont waste your time here… go straight to Nordstrom, great service and they will go through about every spec.
UPDATE: i see the response but i cant reply to it. Not once did an employee speak with me, i went in around 7:10-720pm 7/10/2024 with my husband (lightnpink shirt) and our nephew(beige shirt). Read moreI walked into the store specifically to see the Silvercross stroller new model. I had specific questions and wanted to see how the stroller looked folded. I walk in, i was not greeted by the 2 employees in the store. I had to ask a qustion to an employee who was standing about 15 feet away from me. My question was "what is the difference between the old and new model that came out" the employee answered while standing at their same location "there is no difference." Making a stroller decision is a big deal especially a double stroller. Honestly, it does not surprise me that the employees were so rude, this is a typical occurrence even for friends who have told me they have been to either of the two locations in Aventura. My money definitely goes somewhere else for these large important purchases. And you better believe i bought my double stroller, accessories and will be buying another car seat at another great baby store in Aventura.
