Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Avon

We've come to this location SO many times because I love the food, but I think we're done. Service is awful. We were once sat by the hostess in a booth with no waitress assigned. We waited 30 minutes and were never acknowledged. I even went up to the hostess AND the girls at the counter and asked to get some service and nothing happened. As we started to just leave, someone finally ran over and convinced us to stay, but I couldn't believe a manager didn't even stop by. On two separate occasions, our waiter forgot to bring our check at the end of the meal, and we spent forever trying to track him down. One time we were even told that he had forgotten us and had gone on lunch. We also order our queso without chili and pico. That same waiter who "forgot" us brought out a cup of cheese about 1/4 full for a table of 4. When I asked if we could have it filled up, he said we would have to pay for another order and that since we get it without some ingredients, they can't give us "extra" cheese. Seriously!? So I paid $9 for queso that didn't even make it through half the chips. And forget complaining because where is management? I never see a manager. At other restaurants they walk around and ask how your meal is going. I usually just say fine but at this restaurant they have genuine problems and something needs to be fixed. Plus now they've apparently changed their queso recipe, which is super disappointing - the queso was the only thing keeping me coming back (when I could get a full order...)! Tonight my husband and I took our four kids for dine in at your restaurant. Their ages are 10, 10, 9, and 7. When we arrived our hostess did NOT greet us and ignored several people who walked in behind us. After about 10 minutes, They were able to seat all six of us in a booth which actually fit us great. Our waitress was very prompt and took our drink orders and brought them out accordingly. After she took our order, we waited for well over an HOUR for food to come out. We ordered 4 kids meals and 2 appetizer samplers and an order Fried Pickles for an appetizer. I've been to busy restaurants before but NEVER have we ever waited that long for our food. When our food did come out, our order was not correct and was not hot. I chose not to say anything because, well...I didn't want to wait for another hour. At this point, I had 4 restless kids who just wanted to eat. When my check came, I was charged for my kids drinks even though the kids meals come with a drink. When I addressed this to the waitress, she apologized and went to correct her mistake. Then, when it was time to pay, I was told by the waitress to pay up front at the register but then I stood there for another 5 minutes just for someone to tell me that I needed to pay at the table. IT WAS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE TONIGHT!! I don't know if I have ever been so upset and disappointed in this establishment and to be honest if we will ever be back to this location. My family absolutely loves Buffalo Wild Wings but the service and quality of food we received tonight...

So we always come to this BWW and I’d have to say today was the worst experience at the Avon location . We asked if we could be sat in the middle section of the dining room area and was told by who we thought was the hostess that yes that would be fine, then she disappeared for more than half hour and to top it off I’d say at least an average from 10-15 people left due to not being greated or at at least acknowledged, then another person/hostess came out and tried to seat us by the front door now mind you an hour + has passed I informed the young lady that I was waiting for a booth or table in the center dining area when there was 4 tables available but not one person stopped to clean any of them off. So she got an attitude then walked away for another 5-10 minutes then came back out sat a couple at a booth in the middle dining area and looked over and laughed about it!!! At this point I was Upset walked over to management and let him know how unprofessional the hostess was. And it gets better after we were finally sat the hostess thought it was funny to belittle my family and I by pointing and laughing with a fellow server who just so happened to walk over to our table as our server . I asked for another server due to the unprofessional actions these two employees showed.. I probably won’t be back to this location for a long while or until they can staff some appropriate employees with good work ethnic... Ps not everyone at this location are bad employees just a few bad grapes 🍇...
