Police had to come to Chuck E Cheese due to a fight next to our table. Ruined my son's 6th Birthday party.
Had my son's birthday party here a couple weeks ago. Most of the staff are great, but there was one gal who told me I could not have any of our family as party guests after we had already made the 28.99 per kid party package, after another employee had told usbit was okay to have family come. Which was a shock, because why would I pay 230 dollars for a birthday party, if our family couldn't come and join for cake and presents? She was so rude, and was very off putting. Our party host was such an amazing girl though, and advised I was misled and it was still okay for our family to come.
Here comes the worst part. There was a fight at a table next to ours. A woman punched a mother and her 1 year old baby, and it erupted a huge fight next to our table AS WE WERE SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Parents of my son's friends covered their kids eyes, rushed their kids out of the building, it was a total disaster.
And the cherry on the sundae. My husband asked the same gal I mentioned before to call the police. She said she would. I had no idea my husband spoke to her, so I too ran up shortly after begging for police to be called, and she told me my husband had called 911. Chuck E Cheese made ZERO EFFORT TO CONTACT AUTHORITIES. OUR CHILDREN PLAY HERE. CHILDREN'S SAFETY WAS NOT RESPECTED OR EVEN THOUHT OF. STAFF STOOD AND WATCHED IT HAPPEN DOING NOTHING.
No refund, no discount, nothing that made up what the took away, my son's birthday! Biggest waste of money, horrible atmosphere aside from the few party hosts who really do try to make it special for kids. NEVER AGAIN, will I bring my kids to a place that has zero regard for child safety. Shame on you Chuck E Cheese as a company, for not having better standards for your location's employees, cleanliness, and regard for children safety. It is all about the...
Read moreWORST experience ever! We always go to this location and it has steadily gotten worse every time! I was so angry when we left yesterday I couldn't believe our visit. We brought our two five year olds here to play after school, had a large pizza, salad bar, drinks & 100 tokens to play.. I had an issue with the Operation game, had to call someone over, the tech tried playing it and didn't even know how to play and just gave us more tickets because it didn't give the right amount even when they tried. She just gave up and walked away! Besides this game there were too many other games that were out of order, like the milk jug toss game they really enjoy!
When we went to cash in our tickets the kids went to the display cases full of toys and started telling the lady what they wanted. All she could say was we are out of that, even though there were tons in all three cases. I said, "So you can't open these cases and use these they see?" She said "I don't have a key". She doesn't have a key?? I said, "Surely someone here has a key! Does your manager?" She said yes and paged him on her headset. Minutes pass and I ask again about the manager with the key and she says that he said "He is too busy right now."
Too busy?? What on earth is he doing back in the back to be too busy to come deal with upset guests?? His name was Chris I think. They were not remotely busy! It was around 6 on a Monday! Barely anyone at all was there and we were the only one that were cashing our tickets in! My kids were so upset about all the toys they wanted but for some reason couldn't get but they refused to leave without something so they ended up getting a bunch of stupid stickers, tattoos, & book marks! Nobody said sorry, NOBDOY offered ANY kind of compensation! Completely unacceptable! I would've asked for my money back but the manager was "TOO BUSY" to see me! A...
Read moreWent to this Chuck-E-Cheese for a 3 year olds birthday party. I had not attended a party at Chuck-E-Cheese and based on the experience, I would NOT book a party at this particular location.
The service that should provided by the party hostess was non-existent. After the pizza was delivered, we never saw the hostess again until she brought out ice cream. The children, who were mostly toddlers, were not even given drinks. Parents had to take the cups to the fountain individually which is inconvenient and unexpected when there is a party hostess. While the children were enjoying themselves playing, this could’ve been an opportunity for the hostess to remove the used plates that were left after pizza was eaten. We would have loved to have a clean table when we sang Happy Birthday and issued out cupcakes. Instead, the parents of the party attendees had to clean up so that we could make the table presentable and even have room for the children to eat. The hostess never asked if we needed anything. We never saw her again until she brought the bill out and said to make sure we are off the table by 7:30. The staff was more concerned with us moving from a table so they could set it up for a “party tomorrow” than they were with attending to the party that was there. Although the bill had been paid and we are now moved to a smaller table, another employee approached and requested the bill paid. The bill was clearly their only concern and not one ounce of customer service or tact was displayed.
The lack of service helped me understand why some may opt to just bring in their own items and not book a party. The staff was absolutely not attentive. The only reason I am giving two stars for service is because the employee helping children pick their prizes was nice...
