I am so incredibly disappointed in the cake decorating team at the flagship location. I was such a huge fan of KEC before today. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s baptism and spent over 30 min discussing my vision for the cake (white with petals in a light ombré of soft green) & sent inspiration pictures. The cake was decorated in harsh dark colors of teal and green that looks almost black. It looks nothing like what I requested (who would put dark harsh colors on a baptism cake??) I understand decorators take creative liberties and that the cake wouldn’t look exactly like the inspiration picture but please listen to what your customers are requesting, especially when the cakes cost so much. I was too embarrassed to critique it in the store and hoped it would look better at home once I got a better look. After leaving the store KEC refused to redecorate the cake or make a new cake. I have had Kelsey Elizabeth desserts for basically every milestone of my life - starting from my high school graduation party in 2015 up until my most recent milestone of my wedding in July of 2023. We ordered just over 200 macarons and added on 5 dozen sugar cookies, in addition to our wedding cake and a mini cake to freeze for our one year anniversary. We had 7 flavors, 30 of each, and the 30 macarons fit stacked up perfectly on our hobby lobby raised trays! Our dessert table was demolished and with just under 100 guests, we were surprised there were no leftovers. They were so easy to pick up, carry around and eat in a few bites which is exactly what we wanted. No one complained that they didn't get a piece of cake because the desserts were so good! Our cake was a super simple design and classic (but delicious) almond wedding cake flavor. With the added embellishments from our florist it was PERFECT! Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes baked our wedding cake and it completely exceeded our expectations in every way! We wanted a special wedding cake inspired by my grandparents' original design, and they not only recreated it beautifully but also added their own artistic touch to make it even more stunning. We got a tasting box beforehand and it made the process both easy and fun as well! The cake came out tasting ever better than we could have imagined!

Their pricing was very reasonable for the level of customization and quality we received. Plus, their customer service was outstanding! We had to pick up the cake a day early due to scheduling, and they were incredibly accommodating and kind about it.
