This place is off the hook good - Pork tacos for lunch are scrumptious, the chopped pork sandwich - amazing, and the hotdogs - so good with that fresh "snap" when you bite into them....and thats not even covering B'fast. Highly recommend the Chorizo b'fast tacos (with egg and avacado) along with the Jersey Pork Roll - that sandwich will keep you full till dinner. Almost forgot the biscuits - fluffy home made biscuits any way you like em (try the Biscuits and gravy - you won't regret it) Super friendly people running the trailer and it's right at the foot of the Avon Pier. They do only take cash - and there is a big ol' sign saying as much - but can see where people get excited about the eats and don't read the signs - luckily it always seems that Stu's is willing to accommodate those...

The older (and wiser, hah!) I get, the more I realize I typically review places based on the feeling I get when I’m there. Of course the food’s a plus, too. This place was my first stop on yet another adventure with my nine-year-old Golden Retriever pup, Jackson. The veggie tacos with egg, avocado, cheese, and “Christmas” sauces were absolutely delicious, Tyler Childers over the radio put a smile on my face, and the owners were so kind and a joy to chat with. As a solo traveler, I always love seeing the folks that come up to certain places and this place was greeted by travelers and locals alike. Stu's Food Truck has the most amazing food. If you are looking for great homemade from scratch food, then this is the place to go. They have the best homemade biscuits, amazing sausage gravy, breakfast tacos, and the only place on Hatteras Island that has Porkroll sandwiches. Their homemade Bar-B-Que and coleslaw, homemade chorizo tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and much more. I have been there more times than I can count, and they do not disappoint!
