Potbelly — Restaurant in Avondale

Did not do the accommodations I asked for (clubby with ranch on the side, wreck with horseradish aioli on the side, wreck with cucumbers on the side). But why would they do that when they did not make the sandwiches per order anyway? One of the sandwiches was remade and I had to ask twice, because he offered to remove the tomatoes first, then I explained I am allergic and all the sandwiches were missing toppings. He apologized and was really nice, but still did not make my sandwich correctly. Did they run out of mustard today because we could not get any? Is this what I get for just not making a sandwich at home? Or for not going to Jersey Mike’s? It was the first time I tried the horseradish aioli and I was happy I liked it because I did not ask for it on my sandwich. I initially asked for it on the side so I can try it to see if I liked it. They are just free styling sandwiches here and I got 2 Dream Bars I will be throwing away because I did not notice when I bought them that there are so many fillers in them, which is weird because the cookies are pretty clean. I like that Potbelly has offers like milkshakes, chili, and Mac, but I won’t be...

So I came in with my brother for lunch. What a waste of time and money it turned out to be. The young man who asked me for my bread order seemed to be the only nice person their. They had a lady with short hair and another lady with tattoos adding the toppings. This is where the problem is. They keep shouting across customer's who have not orderd yet. It was a mess. They kept skipping people. Also they where very rude to the senior couple in front of me... Its like they had no patience. Especially the shouting not pleasant At all either. Not what I expect in customer service. Its ok to work fast. But be efficient and nice about it. I was over charged for bacon on my sandwhich I did not get. The meat was luke warm and rushed through the toaster and to top things off they where out of chocolate chip cookies. I was so uncomfortable to say anything to them. So I just left. Didnt even see a manager on duty of anyone nice enough to speak too. I spent 22 bucks here for 2 sandwhichs and 2 cokes. Not cool if i was not able to enjoy them... I doubt I will ever return to...

While I was placing my order at the counter a guy comes and the lady taking my order asks him for more chesse. Without missing a step he gets more cheese for her but he never washed his hands because he just came from giving an interview from the seating area. I have a daughter that has special needs and while he asked her for what she wanted on her sandwich he made her repeat herself 3 times before i stepped in and told him what she wanted. He seemed to be the supervisor there and in my opinion he wasn't very people friendly but only to the female behind the counter. The food i ordered as far as the chicken pot pie soup upset my stomach and didn't taste good at all. The ham sandwich was ok but lacked flavor. It was our first time here and last time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The price is ok for the portion size but that's the only good thing i have to say...
