TWO many things to write about my experience to why I do not recommend this organization, and why it worsened my trauma.
Not trauma informed. Recommended a job that put me through a traumatic experience.
No actual relevant experience with Neurodiversity affirming support. Key highlight "this Autistic person is doing well at this job, therefore it may be a fit for you (a different Autistic person).
Trains on the basis of ableism. Provides "bootcamps" and recommends not to "draw too much attention to yourself."
Founded on Christian religion. This should just be considered a red flag in general, but when the owner can't stop involving her belief system within the conversation then you realize there are no healthy boundaries.
The staff isn't trained on the fundamentals of job placement. They have a select few companies that sponsor them, and recommend job placement based on favoring their largest donors (conflict of interest). One key indicator that they were ill-equipped, was when I showed my ascetically-pleasing resume, and the staff member who supposedly was trained in reviewing resumes, claimed it was the "best resume he'd ever seen." Further experience in revising resumes taught me how incompatible that resume was in being ATS compliant.
In my specific scenario, where I was fired due to gaslighting and management playing favorites in a company with a history of bad management practices, Two and Company's staff responded to my attempts to gather more information about the incident, by the owner calling my father, and pleading with him to advise me against my course of action.
So yeah...infantilism: treating an Autistic adult like a child, commonly practiced by adults who claim to support disabled people.
In summary:
If you identify as a person with an invisible disability of any form and your expectation is to be paired with trained staff equipped and knowledgeable in Neurodiversity you likely won't experience that here.
This incident occurred in 2021, and although I certainly reported both Two and Company, and the company sponsoring them to EEOC and put both under investigation, I feel this review has been long overdue and it's important that I share my story to ensure accountability of the staff here, and to avoid any further damage their negligence may cause to anyone else receiving services.
I have omitted most details from my experience for simplification. If you want to reach out to me to learn more privately, I'm open for...

Two & Companyās mission is beautiful. Their goal ā to support and include developmentally challenged individuals ā is one that truly matters. The shop is lovely. The food is genuinely delicious. And on the surface, it feels like a place full of purpose and heart.
But behind the scenes, the treatment of the employees who actually make that mission possible is deeply disappointing and frankly, unacceptable.
Iāve witnessed Sherri, the owner, speak to her employees in ways that are completely inappropriate ā snapping at them, brushing them off, yelling at them in front of customers, and using a tone thatās demeaning and disrespectful. This doesnāt happen occasionally. Itās consistent. Her behavior toward her staff is harsh and controlling, yet she turns around and presents herself to the public as kind, sweet, and mission-driven. Itās incredibly disingenuous.
And the worst part? These employees arenāt just doing customer service or food prep. They are the ones directly supporting the developmentally challenged individuals the business is built around. They are carrying out the mission with real, hands-on work every single day ā and doing it while being belittled, micromanaged, and disrespected.
Iāve seen reviews complaining that the employees donāt seem authentically friendly. But ask yourself: how could they be? When youāre treated like a problem no matter what you do, when youāre publicly humiliated by your boss, when youāre emotionally drained from doing difficult and meaningful work without being valued ā of course thatās going to show. Itās not a lack of customer service. Itās a lack of humane leadership.
This is what makes it all so heartbreaking. The mission is important. The space is beautiful. The potential is enormous. But the culture behind the counter is toxic. And it all starts at the top.
If Sherri truly believes in what Two & Company stands for, that belief needs to extend to the people who work for her. You cannot run a business rooted in compassion while treating your employees without it.
Until that changes, this cafƩ will remain a place of contradiction: a beautiful mission on paper, but a demoralizing and harmful experience for the people...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWould love to put a 5 star review but I came here after an appointment down the road (not from the area) to work on my computer. After having food and sipping my coffee and I went outside to grab something from my car to come back to the door being locked. All my stuff sitting inside including my phone. I walk to the front door to find itās locked as well. I knock on the door waving at an employee and she looks at me and walks away just like the other three wiping tables near the front door. A guy was sitting at the window putting silverware together and I had to knock on the window and ask him to please let me back in. There is multi couples eating food and nothing about the restaurant closing. I guess you have to look up the times they close before coming so you arenāt kick out and locked out and employees looking at you pulling the door and knocking. Super unprofessional and wonāt come back due to the hours and just ignoring your customer thatās has valuables in your restaurant and feel as if they canāt get in until you bang on the door and I guess beg for them to open the door since they just stare at you⦠Bad experience and nothing to rave about.
Go ahead and look at your cameras from 3:15-3:25pm August 20 th of your employees looking at me begging to come back in. Being there for the past 3 hours you knew I was there and recognized me. Crazy
Also would love to add.. Torani syrup is the worst you could buy⦠(homemade is the way in 2025) and I saw you said no dyes on your chalk board⦠lol they all have dye.. So false...
