Subway — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I just got kicked out of the downtown subway because the sandwich artist didn’t like my attitude I was at the cash register getting ready to pay. I ordered a 12 inch and a bowl . While deciding what I wanted on my bowl I was told to hurry and decide cause my bowl was going to get cold. Then they didn’t have vinagatette I guess subway no longer carries that item so I called my bf and he was taking a long time to decide I said why can’t anything be easy today. I told her the veggies I wanted and she said i didn’t put lettuce on your bowl so if it’s not there it because you didn’t order it my response was that’s right I don’t want lettuce on the bowl if I did I would’ve ordered it. Then she asked if I wanted anything else I said I want to make the 12 inch a meal she said we will take care of that when we get to the register I was 2 steps from the register so I said ok whatever. I didn’t cuss yell or attack her in anyway. I rolled my eyes and was annoyed at her additude. She then said I’m really tired of your attitude in fact you can just leave now without your food cause of your additude I walked out dumbfounded and never said a word...

First off this location accepts EBT which is great. When I went I had my made to order Turkey and Ham with pepper jack cheese, spinach, lettuce, onions, extra olives, jalapenos, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, and the chipotle southwest sauce. Which makes for a delicious sandwich. I went during their lunch rush which wasn't too bad, I had to wait a few minutes but nothing terrible, the staff was courteous, and did a fine job making my sandwich. Subway has changed the menu completely and has a lot of new sandwich selections and they slice the meat in house now. Not that I noticed the difference in the meat...

I like this spot because it’s close to my work and I always hit it up for lunch. The staff can work pretty fast when there’s a long line and seem to know what to do. There’s always one guy I see working who’s great at making wraps and it always ends up hitting the spot. The location is whatever but I never dine in, mostly just do takeout or even curbside pick up. The staff are friendly and get you in and out fairly quickly so I can’t complain about that. Overall decent location and definitely better than some others I’ve visited before where the staff isn’t scrambling to make a simple...
