Wendy's — Restaurant in Bakersfield

This Wendy’s hands down has the most passionate employees. I was out of town working and my wife, daughter and son went inside to order thinking it would be less congested than the drive through but nope! Packed slap full!! So 25 customers ordered before my wife, most of whom were jackasses making ridiculous requests as if the place was a 5 star dining experience, some even had started screaming at the employees about their food taking too long. Or not having the right order. I can understand that if there were very few people in there that day averaging one customer every 5 to 10 minutes and Customer is getting upset about their orders being wrong,

(but when it is filled max occupancy and Max drive-through, you can only expect people to work so fast without physically getting hurt!!!!)

Well by The time my wife and kids got to the line to order, The girl freaking the order, frazzled called her composure and asked what my wife and kids wanted to eat, so my wife orders and the lady goes I’m sorry we don’t sell that anymore, and then my wife goes well what about this? And the lady goes we don’t sell that either anymore or we are all out of that I’m so sorry! So my wife ended ordering something pretty basic for the kids but because my wife and kids were so nice and understanding because there were so many jackasses in there the girl was so thankful for my wife’s respect and understanding and empathy! Now every time we go there we are met with smiles. And I must say that now since we have moved here, having gone from McDonald’s the past two years, all our kids want to do now is go into Wendy’s to see her and order their chicken...

I bought the key ring for free junior frosty's. Was not told I had to purchase something, although, it is printed on the back of it. I travel from Fresno to Tehachapi, never been asked to buy something until 2 wks ago. Have had the key ring since Dec.. so in Clovis, CA, the manager said she would let me do it this one time. So, now I will go to Fresno, and not stop at Clovis again. So today I went to Wendy's on Rosedale hwy in Bakersfield, the person told me I had to purchase something. I turned to the customer behind me and explained I was getting a free item, would he mind if I let him go ahead of me, and add my free item to his order. He said you bet. Had a laugh, and went on our way. So to the owner of Wendys in Clovis, Ca, by the Lowes, and the owner of Wendys on Rosedale hwy, know that I am spreading the word far and wide. Worst customer service in the world!!!!!!! My husband ordered two items and when he got to the window and Paid for his items he noticed the receipt said no cheese when he asked for cheese on both of the items the person in the window proceeded to argue with him that he did not ask for cheese ?? Why are you arguing with your customers?! he gets home and I open my burger and its completely wrong and to top it all off there’sno meat on it they gave me buns and condiments. I call the store a woman rudely answered the phone I tell her what happened and would you believe that she raised her voice at me!? I told her you do not scream at your customers that is terrible customer service abs she hangs up in my face!! I called them back 5 times and the phone was on busy.
