Daily Grind — Restaurant in Baltimore

I gave it a fair chance. The food is very hit or miss and is over priced. Preparation/ recipes are inconsistent. First time I ordered a large granita the barista told me it comes with 3 shots of espresso, second time I was told 1 shot so I added 2 shots. I ended up paying $7 for something that they forgot to sweeten. My breakfast burrito which was also $7 was shockingly small (about 1/3 of a regular sized burrito). Some of the staff are nice which I appreciate and I love their mango lassi, but too many experiences here have left me in a sour mood for me to keep returning. Food and coffee taste fresh and good. Prices are what I'd expect, considering their target. Salads seem to be shrinking, but it's okay. I understand the times.

My only gripe is that some of the staff can be quite rude. At times there is no greeting or "thank you". Also often the younger male cashier won't say the total cost and then he looks annoyed that I don't just tap my card unprompted (sometimes people pay with cash, or just want to know their total before paying).

coffee is bad tasting. it burns and it's super acid tasting. I almost always drink my coffee black, but when I have to get coffee here I put in creamer and sugar... food is not good. they have stuffed tomatoes, what space is there to stuff? nice concept but total fail....
